Should be interesting...the VOICE will be everything, though. He just doesn't resemble him at all.

(Hitchcock freak here. Watching "Hitchcock Presents" on tv right now.)
My favorite pix of the Hitchcock (and kids).

No thanks, not excited or even interested.
VERTIGO and a bunch of other Hitchcock films are being released on Blu, in September. Not a VERTIGO, UNDER CAPRICORN or FRENZY fan. Otherwise, I like all his films. Even VERTIGO I like, up to the moment Kim Novak goes into SF Bay. From that second on, I hate it.

Hedren Reveals 'Evil, Deviant' Hitchcock's On-Set Sexual Harassment
I bet it won't be long until the Johnny Stompanato murder gets dramatized as an HBO movie. The fascination with finding the humanity and the darker truths of classic Hollywood history is reaching its apex.
Tippi really is a class act. She's got guts and integrity. Clearly Hitch messed with the wrong blonde.
Maybe the attention she's receiving now will finally get her career back on track into Shirley MacLaine/Gena Rowlands sort of parts.
"Having created a star who had the temerity to reject him, Hitchcock made sure she paid for it. Hedren was informed that she had received a Best Newcomer award, and was invited to accept it live on The Tonight Show in New York. It would have been a moment of national acclaim for her. Hitchcock refused to let her leave the L.A. set of Marnie, her next starring role. "That was when things came to a horrible, horrible fight," says Hedren. "He made these demands on me, and no way could I acquiesce to them.
After Marnie finished shooting, she'd had enough. "I said I wanted to get out of my contract. He said, 'You can't. You have your daughter to support, and your parents are getting older.' I said, 'Nobody would want me to be in this situation, I want to get out.' And he said, 'I'll ruin your career.' I said, 'Do what you have to do,'" says Hedren. "And he did ruin my career. He kept me under contract, paid me to do nothing for close to two years."
Directors, including François Truffaut, came knocking. They were all sent away. Hitchcock informed them that Hedren, the hottest actress in Hollywood, was "not available" for work. When she was finally let go by Hitchcock, she was no longer the woman of the moment. Her moment had come; she was unable to exploit it, and it had gone."
Hitchcock's Reluctant Muse
I've always loved Tippi, as a person and a beauty, but she is no MacLaine or Rowlands in the acting dept.
True, but she could certainly do something like Rowland's role in The Notebook or Skeleton Key.
Well, she's definitely better than that wet rag Kim Novak.
Carlos is about to claw your eyes out, doodle! :P
'Chin up, darling, both of them.'
"Your face."
"Your face."
