"A contestant from the stranger-danger-friendly child beauty pageant documentary series has landed her own show. Six-year-old pageant sensation Alana will star in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, a show following her rural Georgia family as they do things such as off-road driving and eat road kill for dinner (yes, really). The show starts in August."

The Real World was and still is on MTV on basic cable and was created by Mark Burnett who created Survivor.

The Real World was awesome that first season. Two and three were okay, too. After that they all figured out "reality TV" and just became characters.
