Too many choices. So many prestige movies, a lot of escapist films, family films, etc. Not to speak for its quality or lack thereof but I bet it would not be doing so poorly had it been in January.

He has had some seriously bad press concerning him and his comments to his tweenage fans. Calling one who is a size 14, a "Beached Whale" to her face while lounging at a hotel poolside. Plus there is the new Boy Band in the hood, One Direction.

It's budget is only $5 million. Unfortunately, it will end up making a little money regardless of it being a "flop".

That was a joke on his part, in an attempt to drum up buzz prior to the release of his movie. It's tanking and will, hopefully, be the nail on the coffin. Good riddance.

Ouch, the "film" opened with $2 mil for the 3-day weekend and it was playing in over a 1'000 screens (not huge but not a limited release either). It didn't even make it in the top 10. MANDELA: LONG WALK TO FREEDOM (a "specialty" film playing in 900 screens) and CATCHING FIRE (which has been out for over a month) both beat it. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Justin.

Why are you guys hating on Justin Bieber??? He's like an amazing talent who's a really great guy, humble and more than anything cares deeply about each one of his millions of Beliebers. So stop hating on him, OK??? Nah, I'm just kidding. Fire away.

Ahhh don't joke about that. Some girl in my theater class earlier this semester was saying how he would be "oh so perfect" for Gabe in "Next to Normal"
When I tried explaining to her that the part is not only way beyond his acting capabilities but also his voice is way too weak for it, she said that I was just hating on him for no reason.

"Life in theater is give and take...but you need to be ready to give more then you take..."

Justin Timberlake never had the reputation of being difficult and everyone knew he'd be a star when he got older. He was also never known for being disrespectful to his fans, pissing on paintings in public, or doing the other crap that Justin Bieber does. Timberlake also didn't release some silly pseudo-"documentary" about himself, choosing to pay his dues in terms of acting by taking on smaller roles in prestige projects. I don't see how the comparison stands.

There may have been people who hated the "boy bands" but I don't recall Timberlake being a specific target of their wrath or people hating on him directly. He was always viewed as a good guy and had the wholesome Disney background. Bieber brings 99% of it on himself, acting like a d*ck and making himself out to be this faux tough guy with make believe street creed. I am amazed at how Timberlake has grown. He's turned into a really good actor and his comic timing is terrific. I give him props. He's a really talented guy. Married well too.

Ray, did the math, 1,000 screens, $10 average ticket price, 4-5 screenings a day for a 3 day week-end..... OUCH indeed. But also, YEA!!! Lots of crickets and empty seats.

Carlos, Timberlake was never really hated upon. Having worked with both Timberlake and Bieber over the years, I can tell you the difference is NIGHT AND DAY!

Timberlake is extremely talented and well grounded. It is wonderful to see him grow and become a real star in his own right!

I wasn't defending Bieber. Far from it. I guess it is an unfair comparison to a certain extent. The teen idol pop thing is fleeting at best. If Bieber would just have a slice of humble pie I'm sure people would not be so quick to 86 him.

I'm not going to lie and say the guy has no talent. He does. He has made some really, really bad choices that are overshadowing that talent.

But we've seen this all before haven't we guys?
