Hahaha, Maisie, just today, my theatre teacher was telling us that the secret to writing a good theatre review is to never, ever, ever use the word 'utilize.' It's her least favorite word-- that and 'amazing.'

Stockard and Danmag-- How do you guys manage to look so pretty even with ridiculous hair? All of our health videos in school are made in the 80's, and everyone just looks like a dork.

That's so funny Maisie! My daughter does the same thing! Sometimes I get text messages with just "aghjfdvfs!".. meaning she's frustrated! lol

It was out of frustration. I've been feeling very aggressive today...which isn't good. I sort of feel how I do when I've been skipping my tumor meds, but I haven't been, so I don't know what's up with that. But it doesn't feel good. And that leads to me getting very easily frustrated with stupid sh*t at work.

danmag, I remember my old roomate and I used to take our jeans and put them in the tub with bleach so they'd get all "tie dyeish" and then strategically cut holes in them.

I was just accepted into OU school of Music for Voice!!
Also, my boyfriend was just released from the hospital.
and, he's not gay... that was just people being stupid.

Ugg, I have a crush...
I ran into a guy who I went to high school with (he was a grade older then me) at the mall and man was he cute! It's pretty hopeless though... I doubt I'm his type... he this Celtic, outdoorsy, hippy and I'm this goofy, city girl. The only thing we have in common is blues music (hmm maybe I should start going out to that blues night again...LOL)

I know this guy whose personality indicates that he's pretty darn gay-- let me just put it this way, the first word he ever said to me was "Omigod," said in sort of a lilting drawl, and I was sure from the moment that he opened his mouth that he was gay. He has never openly stated that he was gay, but I assumed that it was pretty common knowledge.

But this one girl I know is INSISTENT that he is crazy about me. She's said this so frequently, even when he's within earshot. I don't know how to explain to her that I don't think this guy likes girls without saying something that might offend this guy if he IS closeted. On the other hand, if he is openly gay but never specifically mentioned it to me, there's no way to say, "Hey, you're openly gay, right?" And on the rare chance that he is straight, that'd just be awkward.

This guy has a very charismatic personality, and I know several girls with serious crushes on him, but I do not get a straight vibe from him at all. He knows way more about musical theatre than I do and is the most hilarious, out there, flamboyant person I've ever met, but I don't see why other girls like him. It'd be like... having a crush on another girl!

Schmergy, I probably would just ask him flat out. But then, I'm friends with some very blunt people. :3

Failing that, you could engineer a discussion about a hot man and carefully examine his responses. Be careful which hot man you choose though; a fondness for Cheyenne Jackson, for example, does not necessarily mean the fond person is gay, it just means that Cheyenne is a freakin' fox.

Oh lord it's been too long! Remind me to think long and hard before volunteering to direct any plays in future; it is fun, I like being able to drink tea while the rehearsal is happening, the hard work is not too much to handle, but I'm not allowed to skip any rehearsals EVER. Back to performing next time, methinks! (And then I'll find a group who're willing to let me direct a Shakespeare, and the cycle will begin afresh; I have all these ideas in my head but no outlet at the moment...)

Plus it doesn't help that I've been to the theatre seven times since Wednesday; it's not exactly unusual behaviour, for I like immersing myself in the world of theatre around about birthday time every year (I did a War & Peace marathon last year :3), as I'm not one for parties or anything, but I'm beginning to forget what it's like having free time. Thank heavens for work, I suppose! It's not brilliant, but at least I've got plenty of quiet time. And it's Tuesday, my favourite day, so I might try and catch up with the internet in between quiet moments.

So um... best wishes and love to everyone who could... soddit, best wishes and love to all of you. This is the best thread on the whole BWW. :3 And now I must throw my breakfast trappings away and open the shop, I guess...

HAHAHAHA Schermg! Wellll I've dated a lot of interesting characters, and I'd say about 75% have turned out to be gay LOL and I'm still young so more could come out of their little closets. It's just the type of guy I go for.
But I would just wait and not ask him. He might be out, but he might not. Or he may not even know. One of my best friends is always accused of being gay even though he insists that he's straight. While I think that maybe one day he could come out, I believe him because that's how he feels right now.
