Yeah Stockard that's the one I went to last night. My cousin lives in Chesapeake so we drove for about 30 minutes to get there. We were about 10 minutes away from the water. I would have liked to go to the beach but it was still pretty chilly out yesterday...plus that whole projectile Exorcist-esque vomit scenario I had goin' on.

Story of my LIFE in high school Jag! Also, if you could dance then you couldn't get any role besides "featured dancer". And stupid me didn't know that as a freshman and auditioned for dancing aaaand four years later I had gotten no where haha. Oh well, I'm on to bigger and better things!

My callback went very well! But everytime they had me read or sing with one of the guys up for Horton, I was always with the same one. A lot of the other girls got to rotate with them. I can't tell if that's a good or bad thing...but I don't want to dwell on it too much. It's out of my hands now BUT I met this guy there who was super nice and he actually went to my high school (he graduated a few years before me though so we never met) He was talking to me a lot the entire night and I kept thinking “God I hope he’s straight” hahahaha cause we all know my track record with finding the undercover gay ones. Well after he had been told he could leave he was still sticking around so I asked him why and he said that his girlfriend had driven both of them there. WTF?! I finally find a straight one and he’s taken. I texted my sister and her reply was “Baby steps Justina, baby steps”. LOL I can’t argue with that haha


Well this is becoming obnoxiously long and I should probably start my work for the day so I’ll talk to you ladies in a bit! Oh and welcome VTG!

BB, that whole "straight guy" thing really sucks. I guess when you finally catch a lucky break and actually find one they almost always wind up being someone elses beau first. You can't find straight/available guys and I can't find gay/available girls...what a pair we make huh? Oh well you'll find someone soon enough.

And Stockard apparently Captain George's is the happening place to bring the relatives because I saw license plates from NC, MD and NY in the parking lot.

Tofu- My biological dad has been telling me about that place ever since I moved to VA. He used to live in VA Beach years and years ago and said it was so good and that it'd be worth the trip to go eat there. That's crazy...

BB- "Baby steps..." No kidding!!! I know exactly what you mean. I have yet another quasi-inappropriate crush on a guy who's probably too old for me. And he's the only straight guy in my show, other than the kid. And it's terrible, cause just like with my improv teacher, he's talented and funny, and then I find out he's got a PhD and I'm like CRAP he's super smart, too. And then I find out he's a linguist sooooo he can talk to you in any language, but he prefers french. SHUT UP. PLEASE don't speak french to me...I might not be able to not jump on you. But my friends are excited cause they're like, "Honey!! You have a crush and he's not gay, or married, or unavailable in some other way! He's only a little bit older, which is not totally unrealistic. Your 'safe' crushes are getting closer to the real thing!!! YAY!!!"

Maisie, those costumes and sets look beautiful! I'm so glad the TBA Beast doesn't have bizarre tusklike objects and weirdly colored fake noses glued onto his face like so many do! The way they did his hands is great, and they look so adorable!

Luscious, I really do want to see the show! How long does it run?

Wow, Maisie, the whole ex situation has got to be REALLY awkward. Is he the one who I said was goodlooking but a little bit sinister-looking? I'm glad you've got a date to prom, though, no thanks to Flake.

Hey girls!

Maisie: gorgeous photo! I can't wait to see the others. Ex taking you to a prom might actually be a good idea, as there's not a whole lot of added pressure (unless one of you still has feelings, but if not, no worries). I assume you guys are on good terms if you're going with him! I ended up going to prom with a complete douche, but left with another dude halfway through the night because I was on the verge of popping a cap in the former's ass. Please have more fun than I did.

Luscious: congratulations on a great review! How exciting! And yes, that guy sounds unreal. Age ain't nothin' but a number, baby. There is nothing sexier than an older, wiser, well-educated man.

bb: remember, girlfriends come and go. Just sayin'.
