Maisie, we'll just make a Part Two if that happens, don't worry
Soooo I somehow managed to get a virus on my computer at work...oops. The IT lady was not happy with me LOL but all I did was go to Yahoo and then the computer freaked out so I ran and got her. Not my fault.
I am terrified of that scary Conflicker Virus. I don't even want to talk about it...like Voldermort. The virus the shall not be named. I saw a story about it on 60 Minutes and it FREAKED ME OUT!!
Have fun in NYC Luscious! Are you seeing a show?
Happy Spring Break, girls! and Piano. BEHAVE!
danmag, Im having a little ballet flats thing goin' too. Luckily my daughter wears the same size so I steal hers.
I wore my black ballet flats, black capris, and a black swingie top with a jean jacket to karate tonight.
It was 60 when we went in, and 40, pouring and windy as all hell when we came out. My umbrella blew inside out while I was getting in the car and I had to try to maneuver it to blow the right way before I could close it and get in the car.
And on a side note, my N key broke. Do you have any idea how many words contain the letter N?
I LOVE ballet flats! My favorite pair looks like this, and I wear it with a cute cropped little army jacket, capris, and a camo t-shirt.

I also have brown ones with a sparkly gold border, black ones, red satin ones with black bows, bright yellow ones that look like they're made of American cheese, turquoise ones, pink ones, and red sparkly ones!
Well you have more than me. I have black, leopard print, and zebra print with a red bow.
Target had really cute satin patchwork ones last year, but they never had my size.
LOL, bb. Did it get you out of having to do some work? If so, it's worth it.
Stockard, that sounds awful. It's been pretty clear today, but I have a feeling we have thunderstorms coming our way tonight too. I'm going out tomorrow, so the weather better behave.
Love those shoes, Schmerg. I think ballet flats are really cute, but they give me wicked blisters. Every pair, every brand I've ever tried have literally torn my feet apart. So I will loyally stick to flip-flops, Chuck Taylors and the odd heel.
Aw, zebra print sounds really cute!
Yeah, flats do terrible things to my feet until I break them in. For awhile, they're horribly painful, and then they're comfy. I usually put bandages on my feet so the shoes won't rub up against them when they're new. I'm just not a sneakers person-- I only own one pair of Converses, and no other sneakers.
Hey, where's Maisie? She has more shoes than anyone in the world...
I'm not much of a sneaker person either, my Chucks are the only ones I really like! They can look so cute if dressed up the right way. And yeah, Maisie needs to get in on the shoe conversation! I have about 120309230 pairs, but I still don't think it compares to her!
The problem with shoes is that I just find them so ridiculously painful to break in. I have two pairs of Converse (green hi-tops with pink lining, orange lo-tops), and they both cause extreme pain to wear for more than a couple of hours. I have two pairs of ballet flats (pinky-purple with butterflies, brown with white polka dots), and they cause me so much pain that I can't even think about them anymore. I tried putting plasters (Band-Aids?) in strategic places on my feet before wearing them, but they still caused me to bleed. I wore the brown pair to a wedding, with plasters, and they hurt me so much that I had to wear slippers to rehearsal the next day. :/
So I wear boots! I don't know what it is, but I find boots much easier and less painful to break in. The only pair that took any real heavy breaking in were my New Rocks, and I just wore three pairs of socks for the first week and two pairs for the second, and it was fine. Or I wear Skechers. My feet *love* Skechers, I can break them in just by looking at them. :3
Note to self: buy more Skechers MaryJanes!
Have fun Maisie! I'm glad to know i'm not alone in the ballet flat addiction - those were really cute ones Schmerg!! (I know what you mean about the band-aids though...)
Yeah, my black ones are the only ones that don't hurt. I don't know what the solution is. Maybe buying them a size too big?
HAVE FUN MAISIE!
These are the ones I bought - I'm hoping they will be comfy because they have an elasticized back.
here are the last pair of shoes I bought!
4 pairs of Old Navy flip flops!!!! In Gray, Black, Orange, and Red. For UNDER 10 dollars too (I had a coupon!) and these should last until mid-Summer I suppose
Hey ladies! Wow I've missed a lot. I've been housesitting for a lady and her wifi isn't the strongest so I haven't been able to use the Internet over there, and then life is just busy in general.
Have fun in Panama City, Maisie!
I really need to buy some new flats, the ones I have are torn up.
Piano, you can never go wrong with flip flops.
Yes, you can! The guy who plays Sitting Bull in my school's production of Annie Get Your Gun was wearing two flip-flops that were totally different colors and sizes.
I got to fill in for Buffalo Bill today because he wasn't there! Everyone was confused as to why Buffalo Bill was a girl...
I generally prefer flip flops in the summer....but I haven't yet gotten my first pedi for the season. It's scheduled for Wednesday.....sooooo excited.
Oh man, once I start wearing flip flops for the summer, unless I am required to wear normal shoes, I don't. Although, I'm not so sure why I got 4 pairs lol. I seem to only wear the gray because they match everything I own :)
I hope you did well, though, Schmerg!
Well as far as flip flops go, I have black, blue and orange rubber ones. Leather ones I have gold, silver and brown. Off the top of my head that's all I can think of. But seriously, if you have black, brown, gold and silver what else do you need?
Haha, Buffalo Bill is usually played by this hulking football player with this great big voice... I was certainly an interesting change.
Weirdly, I only own one pair of flip-flops, and I almost never wear them. My mom doesn't let me wear them anywhere but the pool, and I almost never go to the pool anyway. I remember one time, we were coming back from the pool and we almost went to Starbucks, but my mom decided it would be indecent to go to Starbucks, since we were wearing flip-flops.
I have every color flip-flop under the sun. I pretty much only wear white and black...but I like to sometimes wear the ones that don't match just to mix things up a little.
I'm watching Twilight right now. This movie is one of the most obnoxious things I've ever seen, but I WILL sit through it so I can appropriately make fun of it. This way I will have actual reference points to ridicule.
What if they were nice leather ones? Almost like sandal versions of flip flops?
Haha, I remember my High School had a dress code policy that said "students were highly discouraged to wear flip flops" and of course, we wore them. They aren't as big a hazard as people make them to be actually
In middle-school, you could be sent home for wearing flip-flops, and I think that's where my mom got the idea that they're pure evil in footwear form.

Haha, have you read any of the books? They're even more hilarious-- there are so many breathlessly protracted descriptions of Edward that it makes Charlotte Bronte's writing seem like William Carlos Williams.
