I wish I had time to read all of the posts, but it's been a busy day! I'll have to catch up later.
Just letting you ladies know I'll be gone all weekend, I'm visiting some friends at Baylor that I haven't seen in a while. I'm excited!
Have an amazing weekend everyone!! =]
We'll miss you Shannon!
L and Stock, did you have fun??
Yeah girls, fill us in!
I'm taking tonight to relax cause I have an audition tomorrow afternoon, but tomorrow I'm going to a karaoke bar! Wooo!
BB! What are you auditioning for?! Break some legs please!
VTG- That really sucks...I'm sorry to hear that you feel so on lockdown. I don't do well with feeling controlled or authority figures...so we'd be having some problemos right now if that was my mom.
Yes...we had a really fun time. The place we went got REAAAAAALLLLY LOUD, so we practically had to shout. She got to meet my best friend that I've told you about. The one I was in love with for like three years and then he told me he's gay. So that's sorta fun. I felt sorta bad for him because where he was sitting I knew he couldn't really hear anything we were saying because of the music, but he was a good sport and he's always really good to me, so no complaints. He just sorta hung out and got us drinks. :)
She's adorable and fun! We all really need to try and have a get together soon. I think we'd have a blast. Probably be trouble....tearin' up the town...lethal combination.
oooh! Can't wait to hear from Stockard and Lucious!
What is the audition for BB?
It's actually for a Theater scholarship at Temple University.
L and Stock- I'm so jealous that you two got to meet! But I'm glad you had a good time! and I agree, we need to all get together. ASAP!!
And this is such a good week by the way! So I just found out a few days ago that I got cast in the ensemble of Oklahoma at this equity dinner theater nearby, so I'm super pumped about that. And today I just got an email from Ocean City Theater Company offering the role of Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer! I'm sooo excited to be living in Ocean City, NJ for a few weeks this summer
Kick some ass BB!
So, I signed up for classes next semester! I am taking French, Italian, English, Micro Econ, and Statistics
And I think for a major, I might do International Business Management. They want you to minor in a language (Italian!) at least, thats preferred, and then you have to study abroad... what a shame! :P I'm excited for next semester!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday! :)
Lucious, did you guys take some pics? Sounds like you had a great time!
...now, about that BWW Ladies Who Lunch gathering in NYC..make it happen!!!
Piano, my nephew studied in Italy for a year. He loved it.
"Simple because I'm only 18 haha."
Perfect! you can sneak out, I mean, you can drive and you are technically an adult! lol I'm sure your parents wouldn't know, just tell them you have to go to the store and you'll "be back later", just don't tell them HOW much later :P
No unfortunately we didn't pics. I thought about it half way through and realized I didn't bring my camera. D'oh!
Piano I'm so glad you're deciding on a major! That's really exciting! And it seems like you love languages so I'm sure a minor in Italian would be no problem for you.
And yes. NYC! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
I agree about NYC! I wish we could all be there though.... love ya maisie!
I am giving my two weeks notice tomorrow.... I wish I could just be done with the job though. It's almost the end of the semester and I have so much flipping work!
I'm going to this local middle school/high school theater company's spring showcase tonight! A couple of friends (including my best friends brother) and a couple of Greasers are in it, so it should be awesome!

"And it seems like you love languages"
Yes I do! Sometimes, I just hating speaking English haha
and speaking of NYC, ok, I know this is forever away, but tickets go on sale in June! So, I really REALLY want to see Bye Bye Birdie on the first preview for $10 so I am planning on coming up then! anyone else going? Grr, I'm just afraid that they will sell out of those before I buy them... thats just my luck. And a friend may or may not come, not sure yet, but oh man! I am so excited for this summer!
Good luck Kels with giving your 2 weeks! the last 2 times I did it were tough. The first time, he begged me to stay... and I did *sigh* then the next time, I said two weeks but then changed it to a month so he had time to find someone new. I am too nice sometimes haha
When's the preview Piano? $10 is my kind of ticket haha
Yeah I'm all for $10 tickets!

well Roundabout does the access tickets and they have like 100 tickets for $10 to the first preview of all of their shows, and so I REALLY want to see the first preview of the first revival of Birdie ever! OH man! if I don't get tickets, I will cry for days! DAYS I TELL YA! lol but they go on sale sometime in June, no dates announced yet but I hope I get a ticket and I hope yall do too!
EDIT: I totally just gave you all the information but what you asked for lol The preview is September 11th I believe, although they haven't officially announced it yet.

Hmmm I'll have to see what classes I have that day. I haven't chosen courses for next semester yet so I don't know if I'll have any for that Friday. But we have a little while to figure it out since tickets don't go on sale until June.
I'm totally skipping my Friday classes to come up for it!
I love my schedule next semester!
MWF: 10 - Italian, 11 - Statistics, 12 - English, 1 - French
TTh : 10 - italian, 11 - Micro Econ
Okay, y'all I have a situation of sorts...
I have this friend, I'll call her A, and A is the kind of friend that you love dearly but you need breaks from because she is kinda insane! I'm at the point where I need a break, but she is the most clingy person on the planet! Like everyday there's more drama... everytime she stays at my house she spends hours screaming at her boyfriend (I have even gotten a noise complaint from one of my neighbors!)... and she just texted me and said her car caught on fire (WTF?!).
She txts me as early as 7 in the morning and if I don't respond within a half hour she calls me. I don't want to loose her as a friend, but she is driving me NUTS! Any advice?

HAHAHAH I'm sorry but that's really funny
But on a serious note, as hard and awkward as it might be I suggest you have a casual sit down with her and talk about it. If you really want her as a friend I think it's better to confront the issue now before you start to hate her. And if she doesn't hear what you're saying then maybe you two just don't work as friends. It's kind of a sucky situation. Good luck with it though, whatever you decide to do

Kels I have to agree with BB, and what the hell is up with her car catching on fire?! Did the mob plant a car bomb under her seat because she was annoying them too??!!
Normally I'd say try and salvage relationships as best you can but sometimes you really do just need to cut the cord and move on. But if you really love her as a friend then by all means talk to her about your concerns and keep your cell on silent before 8am. A friend of mine texts me good morning almost everyday around 6:30 and I have to tell her to quit because she knows damn well I don't drag myself out of bed until at least 10.
BB, I'm really happy for you with everything that you've got going on. Sounds like someone's gonna have a lot of fun in the coming months. Hell, you'll probably snag yourself a man while you're at it
Haha, I laughed too! I was like "you have gotta be kidding me!"
Yeah, I need to deal with this... like she wants me to come hang out tomorrow after my 8 hour shift... when I have another 8 hour shift on Sunday! Ugg ugg ugg....
