I'm glad to be able to bring a happy tale to make you smile....
And feel free to drop by anytime, we love our boy friends too!
Feel free to stop in any time SM2! Lord knows we could use a little testosterone every once in a while.
Oh, Stockard, that story is wonderful. It choked me up!
StageManager, you know how I feel. Anyone with that avitar is welcome in my book!
SM2- Drop by whenever you want! We like our men, too! :) (Well...a few of us like them more than others, but we're all friendly!) Haha
Stock- That's amazing! So good to hear stories like that.
Tofu- I'm so glad that your grandma and her friend are okay. How scary!
And yeah...I could use a drunken sailor right now. :)
Oh man, tofu, I am so sorry about your Grandma. That is terrible. That's a horrible phone call to get. Im glad they are ok.
see, New Yorkers get a bad rap. They happen to be the best drivers around. If they can drive in NYC, they can handle anything!
Okay so funny (yet kind of creepy) story about one of our swings for Oklahoma. One of them came up to me and said "Are you planning on dying any time soon?" And I said "Um, no. Why?" She replied "I just wanted to decide if I'll learn your part or not." *looks me up and down* "I think I will." And then she walks away. Wtf? If you're gonna pull a Tonya Harding on someone, pick a principal character honey. Not someone in the ensemble.
What kind of crazy ass bitch says something like that?!!! That's not funny. Keep your eye on that one, BB.
Okay I wasn't sure if it was just me that thought it was a little weird. I understand that she's a swing so she's supposed to learn certain people's tracking and choreography, but I'm not one of them. She should worry about the two girls in the ensemble that will actually be missing performances.
But she's been known to say really inappropriate things in the past so I'm not really worried about it.
BB- That's so creepy! I'd avoid her as much as possible.
Tofu- So sorry about your grandmother! I'm really glad she's okay though, it could've been a lot worse.
Schmerg- That really stinks! Maybe it's because you're so incredible they thought there was no way it was your first year being a critic. =]
Stock- That story is beautiful! I'm so happy for her! Very inspirational.
SM2- Stop by anytime!
So I had my second exam this morning (very easy). I just have one more on Thursday and I'm finished with freshman year! I have to turn in my art portfolio tomorrow which isn't a biggie. I'm so excited for summer!
Yay Shannon! Are you an art major?
No, I'm just doing art for fun. =] I like drawing in my free time but I'm studying Journalism and Radio/Film/Television.
BB, do I need to get out my nunchucks AGAIN???
LOL danmag, probably.
Shannon, that's awesome that you take art classes along with your major.
I took an art class just for the hell of it my senior year. I sat next to the HOTTEST guy!
I really need to get the leaves out of the bottom of the pool, but now I'm watching All My Children.
I took art all four years in high school and it got me out of gym It was actually really challenging and hard to get an A, but SO worth getting out of dodgeball and running the mile.

BB, maybe I'm just really morbid with a sick sense of humor, but that "dying" story had me ROLLING!!! OMG who on earth says something like that? And if that girl looked anything like Tonya Harding I'd definitely be afraid for my life...WOOF that's a sexy mugshot!!!
Stock, I hope you have the automatic pool vacuum. That was the best money I ever spent on that pool...
No I have to do it myself. But I usually lose a few pounds over the summer by doing it. And it makes me get tan on my back.
Stockard, that story is wonderful-- and it definitely gives a lot of hope for people whose friends have been in accidents, too. I'm so happy for that girl and her family.
BB, yipes! Whatever you do, don't let her come near your Shivaree, especially with a knife!
I'm gonna look out for something a little more Showgirls. You know, something like tripping me off the stage at a rehearsal.
BB, you could so take her!
Shannon, that's awesome that you take art classes along with your major.
Thanks! It was a pretty challenging class, but it was fun. No cute boys though. All girls and one awkward guy who came occasionally.
Damn! What happened to all the cute artsy boys?!
That's what this guy was like....totally arty.
OK, I have another story that's kinda funny speaking of cute arty guys.
When I was in college, I worked at the Norfolk Waterside in this clothing store. There was this guy who worked at one of those art kiosks, you know where they do your picture in chalk?
He was beautiful. Like an angel. Long blonde hair and big blue eyes. But he was like 17.
Anyway, a bunch of us that worked at that mall would party together after work and stuff. Louis would come to some of the parties, even though he was in HS (his mom was never home, but that's another story).
So sometimes he would sketch us while we were hanging out.
So one day he says he's done a painting of me. So he brings it over one night. It's a FREAKING NUDE! WTF? I was dying. It was suprisingly accurate though considering he'd never seen me nekid.
