LOL!
OK, time for All My Children! Talk to you lovely girls later!
Haha aw Stockard is a soap fan! I don't think I could ever sit through one of those shows, but it's cool that you like them.
I hate that octuplet woman! She is so selfish.
Stockard, I just got in but I"m letting my dvr finish taping AMC then I'll watch it through.
Looks like I missed the octopus lady-I didn't realize she was on this am. Oh well.
I don't think nursing 8 babies is possible. I don't remember where I got this info from (possibly my sister? I get most of my baby knowledge from her), but mammals are designed to have one nipple too many for the average litter size. She is 7 over the average human litter size. She'd have to eat SO MUCH to get enough into her body to give out to them, and she'd never get anything done, just eating and feeding, eating and feeding. She is literally a baby factory. :/
As for periods, I believe my thoughts are well-documented all over the internet. I'm lucky not to suffer any real pain beyond uncomfortable cramping, but I get incredibly grouchy for the duration, and can't bear watching violence and gore a couple of days beforehand. I suspect I might be a little late this month, as I was laughing my backside off at Titus yesterday. Good job I have no particular reason to worry if I'm late! XD
If I actually survived through the nursing of 8 babies, I'm pretty sure my boobs would end up dragging on the floor.
I missed the last 15 minutes of AMC.

tofu, do you get the floaters before the migraine? I hate those. If I'm home it's a warning to get in the dark and take asprin. But if I'm at work it's brutal. I can't see the computer and then the headache comes on...brutal
Clever, I know what you mean, I hate them too!!! Because I get migraines pretty often, at least 3-4 times a week, the shades are almost always drawn and I have really soft lighting. I really can't even take 60 watt bulbs, so all my lamps have dimmers on them. Everyone says my place looks really cozy and inviting with the dim lights...little do they know I'm actually a vampire living among mortals lurking in the shadows surveying passersby. *And Scene*
For Stockard-at the end of AMC today, Bianca received advice from Erica about her fight with Reese, and then Bianca and Reese made up.
Greenlee was able to get Kendall to vent.
Zach asked Kendall how long she was going to be acting strange and she opened up and told him she was pissed because he knew she wouldn't have wanted him to father Bianca's baby yet he went ahead and did it anyway.
end.

Oh my gosh Tofu!! That's insane! I think I've gotten a migrane once, maybe. I'm not really sure if it was one haha. But I hardly ever get headaches too. I'm very very lucky in that sense.
oh tofu, I get them once or twice a month, I can't imagine what you must go through!
..but I love the cozy lighting, too! And giant dark sunglasses. I have also been called a vampire more than one in my lifetime lol!
Vampires are hot though, so it's all good haha
I never get headaches unless I'm about to become really, really sick, so if my head ever twinges just the teeniest bit, I know I'm in trouble.
I've been sick twice in the last two years, but before that, I was only sick once in third grade, once in first grade, and twice before I was in school. So yeah, I don't really get sick much. But when I do, it's bad.
So, three weeks ago I had the stomach flu and threw up more than I thought was humanly possible...
...and now I have bronchitis. There is no god.
On the plus side, I've never had a migraine, either!
I know someone who claims that her boyfriend/husband is a "sanguine vampire." I love dracula movies but I would never want to know a real vampire.
Jane (or anyone else), have you seen that Tyra episode that came out around the time of the Twilight craze, with the "real life" vampires? It was actually pretty fascinating...one of the women was NUTS, though.

It doesn't sound like you've had a migraine yet, Shmergie. Consider yourself lucky. A migraine is more than just a bad headache, It is often accompanied by nausea and vomiting, seeing flashes of light, or persistent bright lights in your vision ("ocular migraine"). It can even cause temporary blindness. It is very debilitating, often leaving one bedridden during its course. It is thought to be due to neuro-chemical imbalances which can be provoked by the menstruation cycle. After the intense pain is gone one can still feel wasted for days, the "zombie phase" as I refer to it.
I think I did, jag. But in those interviews, is it ever determined whether or not these "vampires" drink blood?
Schmerg, you are so healthy!! No headaches? I'm jealous!
jag, that stomach virus is going around like crazy. They're dropping like flies in my office.
Thanks for the update, Jane!
I am going to a wine and cheese party tonight. I just know I'm gonna feel like crap tomorrow.
Hey Stockard - how did you get so lucky as to be going out on a school night?
Anyone else remember when "wine and cheese" places (featuring bad wine (sometimes sangria which, I confess that I love, actually), bad cheese, backgammon boards and an angsting guitar player) were big back in the late 70's?
Have fun though, Stockard! Wine and cheese is so worth it.
Jane, upon doing some really simplistic Google searching, I found this: "Some, but not all, real vampires do drink blood. This does not mean that they drain the bodies of those they drink from. The majority of vampires whom I have met that do admit to drinking blood state that they consume the equivalence of a shotglass full of blood during a single feeding. This amount is not exact as some prefer to drink less, but it does seem to be the maximum amount consumed." I vaguely remember one of the vampires on Tyra discussing his extensive drainage process before consuming any type of blood...it does happen!
I saw that Tyra episode. It was pretty crazy, but I just thought the guests were attention, not blood, suckers. But I guess I'm a real cynic that way.
