WithoutLove.....I think it's supposed to be COLD but no precipitation this weekend!
I'm not a shopaholic. It's just the freaking Target! Of course, I haven't been there in a really long time, like months. So it's not that bad...and I did, mostly, buy things like laundry detergent and paper towels. Now that I think of it, I didn't buy ANYTHING frivolous. The "craziest" I went was buying 2 picture frames that had been reduced to $3.14 from $12.99! Everything else was a "necessity."
Okay cold I can handle... rain or snow equals me falling on my butt since I will be wearing 5 inch heals! (my boyfriend is literally a foot taller then me, I have to break out the super shoes!)
And I will so join the BWW shopiholics! I am so broke right now yet I have bought a dress, a blazer, and I plan on buying a bunch of new underwear as soon as I get up to Target

ooops-we just got the precipitation. I hear it on my skylight.
LIsten to all of us, discussing the weather at length! I'm and old coot, so I'm supposed to talk about weather. What's all of your excuses?
killertofu- I'm so sorry about that! That sucks. And you're so right about VA. I got a ticket this summer and didn't deal with it soon enough (cause I didn't have the money) and they suspended my license! I got it back pretty easily but that sucks.
It's so good that you know your license number, I don't know mine at all!
Was the cop nice or a jerk?

Did someone say carry-on? This page on the saddleback leather website gives a good list of luggage manufacturer websites. Everything from Ellington to Louis Vuitton & more.

Luscious, at first the cop was kind of an A-hole but then after I did the most cliched thing ever (started tearing up) he softened a bit and let me go with the citation.
The minute my eyes started to tear up I knew I was setting us women back by 50 years...but dammit sometimes you just gotta be a GIRL and let the water fly!!! At least I didn't have a V-neck shirt on..."the girls" might have had to help me out a little.
And I'm sorry about your ordeal too. Virginia is no joke!!! My grandfather got a ticket up there for going 75 in a 70!! C'mon coppers have a heart for god's sake.
Thank, Krissy, but I have to SEE it before I buy it because I need one that is TSA-friendly to my laptop.
And I have to get it by TOMORROW because I leave on Friday!
Any ideas, girls?

Targus and Pathfinder both make specifically TSA friendly laptop carry-ons. They aren't as sexy, but they past the test. (No, I don't own one.)
Edit: Try looking online and using the store locator thingie.

But WHERE can I find one TOMORROW? (And I don't care if my suitcase is "sexy." In fact, "in this case, "sexy" sounds like a euphemism for "expensive," and I definitely don't want that.)

Krissy, honey, I know I can do THAT! I'm looking for women who are experienced!

Well, right now, all I care about is...luggage! I was supposed to be "free" this week, but it didn't turn out that way, so I couldn't get out to any stores.
Where do you live, KS?

I live in the PNW. Outside Seattle, I was living in Vancouver but have moved to the Olympic Peninsula. Vancouver, Seattle and Victoria are the places where I do serious shopping.
Oh no it's so windy here too! My lights just flickered on and off a few times. Maybe we won't have power at work and I can go home... :)
NO. OMG NO. NO NO NO NO NO I DO *NOT* ENJOY BEING A GIRL. IT IS PAINFUL AND MISERABLE AND THE PAINKILLERS AREN'T WORKING AND I HATE THIS AND I'M NOT HAVING CHILDREN ANYWAY SO WHY DO I NEED THIS AGONY MONTH AFETR MONTH AFTER MONTH AFTER MONTH AFTER MONTH?!
Weez I'm sorry.
Oh Target..so much love and so much hatred.
Target is absolutely ADDICTING! I'm not one that has a shopping problem either, but that store just does something to me! I have purchased tons of cute dresses in there while I meant to just stop in and get a planner or something haha. The other place I have a shopping problem is this certain Goodwill near me. (Don't laugh at me haha) It's huge and always has amazingly cute stuff! Who can turn down a dress and a pair of boots for $5?
Wowww, Maisie! Well done on the ads, and I can't say I'm not freakin' relieved you're getting a Beast finally. XD
The painkillers have kicked in so I'm much merrier now. I just needed to have a shout at some sympathetic people before I started writhing around on the floor in agony. (And I don't mean my shout was to prevent me having a writhe; I mean the plan for my afternoon was to bellow in pain, writhe in pain, and embrace the heater - in pain. XD)
I feel left out not having Target. We have Matalan; that's the cheap clothing place I can't get enough of. I have some very cute dresses from there that get an airing on those rare occasions I deign to be girly.
Weez, when you come to the States, Target is either a "must" or a "stay away" depending on your perspective.
Well I hope no one got the wrong idea that I don't like Target just because the one here sucks!
Back to the weather-I just heard on the radio that the wind has already killed two people from trees blowing over on them.
And "Good Morning" to you too, Jane!
