Ok Maisie, I think you might be the only one to really understand this since you live in the Carolinas too. I just got back from lunch at OMG effing Sonic!!! That place is like fast food crack in the South.

I got a Pineapple Slush and some mozzarella sticks. It is absolutely impossible to eat mozzarella sticks in a sexy if not suggestive manner. I looked like a fool with cheese practically hanging from my mouth. Not to mention it was hot, so I sucked in air while my mouth was hanging open. Of course someone cute was in the next car over and I believe she saw the whole moronic scene...so THAT didn't go well. *sigh*

Schmerg how the hell did you drop your eyeliner in the toilet, and what were you doing putting eyeliner on in the middle of the night?

Hahaha, I just had my eyeliner pencil sitting on the side of the sink and I was washing my hands and accidentally knocked it sideways into the toilet (which is next to the sink). I wasn't putting it on in the middle of the night... though if I was, I'm sure I'd have more interesting stories about what I did in the middle of the night than just running out to Target.

Tofu, I have never heard such a nauseating description of eating cheese sticks before, but somehow it still makes me hungry!

My science class went to a park near my house to study the watershed. We studied erosion and decomposition and all that fun stuff. It was cold and wet, and we didn't get to miss any classes except for the class that we went on the field trip with.

I have another field trip tomorrow, though-- I'll be out all day for 'district chorus,' where I sit in a room and sing for eight hours straight and learn five pieces of music in three days! I still can't believe I got in, because I'm a soprano but auditioned on alto because I was sick that day (and screwed up my sight singing beyond belief).

Oh my gosh, Chic-Fil-A... I haven't been there in years! I don't eat much fast food, but that is definitely my favorite. And I love their waffle fries and their chicken nuggets that actually taste like chicken!

One restaurant I sometimes crave, then eat at, then realize how much I don't like the food, is KFC. I'll always be like, "ooh, I want to go to KFC!" And then I remember why I don't go very often. Eurgh.

danmag, I know. The pickle rocks it. McD's has a "southern chicken sandwich" right now that has a pickle, but it sucks.

Schmerg do you ever eat at Mike's American Grill? Those rolls they have are heaven on earth.

OMG Maisie, if Sonic is crack, then Bojangles is heroin with just a dash of angel dust!!!

When I first moved here I couldn't grasp the sheer fascination everyone had with "Mr. Bobo's" but now I get it. A chicken biscuit or country fried steak biscuit has thrown me off my diet a time or two. I need to go and get on the treadmill...just thinking about it I've gained at least 2 pounds!!

For goodness sake their fries are absolutely delectable!!! And of course I only drink their sweet tea when I'm there...sooooo delicious!!
