OMG, tofu! You are too funny!

So I just spent an hour and a half vacuuming the pool, cleaning the filter and fishing leaves out of the pool. And it's so windy it's full of leaves again already. GRRRR

Kels and Schmerg- Oh my gosh, girls I'm so sorry! I'll be praying for your families.

BB- I think I missed something. You're a cancer survivor? I didn't know that...I don't think I knew that at least. Also, Grey's...WOAH WTF. WOAH. I gasped and screamed for a second, too. Took me just a second to put it together and then I was like OH MY GOD!!!

Tofu- I'm like catnip for OLD white men in the bars. It's like they come straight to me as soon as I walk in. Although I did get an "I love you" from a fairly cute youngish guy at the bar last week. He just stopped and said you're beautiful and just for tonight I love you or something like htat. It was funny, but nice.

Maisie- Yay! Go girl! Glad it went well.

I wasn't sure if it ever came up before, sorry about that. Basically I had a melanoma that spread to my lymphnodes three years ago. I was extremely lucky and caught it before the infected lymphnodes had a chance to spread it anywhere else in my body. So I ended up just having surgery (no chemo or radiation thank God) to get the tumor out of my ankle and two lymphnodes out up in my groin. Now I'm cancer free and just have to go to a few different doctors for checkups every three months

But moral of the story, wear your sunscreen ladies.

I had a dream about the hot hippy guy who was flirting and chatting me up at work yesterday.... even my manager thought he was cute..... now if I could only remember his name..... damn it! lol

as far as losing weight..I gained 7 LBS!!!! I'm starting Weight Watchers May 29th. Wish me luck, cuz I'm out of control!!

Clever, good luck on the weight loss! I've been trying to watch what I'm eating just so I'm healthier, and yesterday I had cheese fries LOL oh well! You've gotta indulge every once in a while!

Oh, Blondebaby, I never knew you had cancer, either! It's fantastic that they caught it before it spread too far, but it must have been so scary for you.

Kels-- Ooh, hot hippie guy? Do tell!

About my aunt-- my mom says there's some kind of pills for throat cancer now that they're using instead of chemo? Has anyone ever heard of that?

EDIT: Dangit, it was lung cancer... I got confused thinking of Kels' dad.

Schmergy, it was scary but it's just one of those things that you learn something from. At least that's how I like to look at it. And about those pills, I think I might have heard about that. My grandmother has had lung cancer on and off for about 20 years now and her body won't be able to take the chemo so she takes these pills instead. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I know she definitely takes some sort of pill to shrink the tumor.

ok so I just got back from my uncles house. He offered to pay me 50 bucks to cut his lawn with his riding lawnmower and rake some leaves. I was like, wtf? sure! (I NEED the money and it seemed easy) the grass was ok, but the leaves... there were 2 HUGE piles I had to rake into the woods which took FOREVER!! It took about four hours to do it all, but I did it! Thankfully, I took my moms ipod and for the last hour and a half, I listened to Music and the Mirror (Charlotte D'Amboise of course) over and over.. it helped so much! Now I'm off to shower!

Damn, I missed a lot of interesting chat. But I did see La Cage aux Folles again. Philip Quast is SO AWESOME that it's physically impossible to remember how awesome he is without seeing him in action. *melts*

Oh dear lord.

I've just poured my 2nd glass of wine. I was at the hair salon until 5, and then went to the wine store. I bought a couple bottles of red (we're having pizza) and then my husband showed up with 2 other bottles of red. WOO HOO!!!!! I'm gonna be hurtin' tomorrow. But my effing back is killing me from all the pool work so I'm self medicating.

We are *definitely* going to have to get a dorm. I don't think a single roommate would be able to handle either of you, and I DREAD to think what would happen if we left you to each other! ;D ;D ;D
