So, I haven't straightened my hair all summer because in this humidity it won't stay...but oh my god, I just tried this straightener my mom bought and she got a 2nd one free- and it's amazing. It's that in styler thing, the rotating iron. I...
did NOT burn my hair
did straighten my hair
feel lovely/pretty
miss my red hair now that i have straight hair again
just saying girls- the in styler actually works.

On a related note.... I think I might be Dolly Parton for halloween. Thoughts?
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofuPosted: 8/13/09 at 1:26am
Kels- That'd be amazing! She's so fabulous.

SAMN- Oh that's awful! I fainted once and it was no fun :/ I was alone and so freaked out!
LL- I'm sorry you had a bad day
Kels- Baha! Dolly Parton is awesome! Great costume idea! Nobody I know really celebrates Halloween anymore...sad.
Shh- what is this marvelous invention you speak of?! Did it straighten quickly? I straighten my hair usually 1-2 every two weeks. Also, you had red hair? I used to have red hair that I recently dyed brown, and I miss it too! Redheads rule!

Well all you girls with boobies get no sympathy from me. I wish I had boobies.
SAMN, you need to eat right and drink lots of water. I don't want to hear about you passing out again young lady!

Faith, I just go to a normal public school near DC. But there's this awesome program called ArtSpeak that DC theatre organizations have put together that brings Broadway stars to Fairfax County schools-- they've been doing it for about ten or eleven years. Last year, they had Hugh Panaro, Alice Ripley and the rest of the cast of Next to Normal, Michael Cerveris. In the past, they've had people like Brian Stokes Mitchell, Kristin Chenoweth, and Lea Michele... we're really lucky, especially since my school has like no budget for theatre.

Yesterday I was in the drive thru at Starbuck's and this horses ass of a woman cut me off and got in line first even though I had the right of way. I can't be sure but I think she flipped me off. I could tell from her hand gestures and the way she was working her neck that she was being extra rude to the girls that were making her coffee. I even saw her throw an old fast food cup out of her window when she was reaching for her coffee. Since she was obviously being such a wench I had to wait in line for almost 10 minutes while she had her bitch fit. RIDICULOUS!!! When I finally made it up to the window the girls told me that she was the worst customer they'd had so far and offered my coffee for free because I had to wait forever and because I was actually nice to them and said thank you. I'm not complaing about getting free Starbuck's, cuz that sh*t's expensive, but when did it become such a burden for people to be nice to others? I mean seriously do people go around saying: "Gee I wonder who I can piss off today and still receive my food without spit in it?" Some people are sooooo freakin' rude!!!
BTW Chick-Fil-A is the SH*T!!!! Their nuggets are delectable morsels of love. MMMMMMM.
Is anyone else having some serious BB withdrawal symptoms? I miss her

Schmerg- Thanks. I work in member services at a nonprofit. My bosses told me today that I need to have more confidence and not be so affected by other people. Well that's fun.
Ohhhh and it sucks about your dress situation Schmergy!

And danmag, yes I meant bubbies! LOL!
Grilled cheese and fries sounds so yummy! And so does Chic-fil-a.
My husband just called and said to come up to pizza plant for dinner with his brother and family but
a) I always get white pizza there which is almost identical to the pizza I made last night.
b) I have no makeup on and don't feel like putting any on.
c) I already have the chicken marinating and a corn and tomato salad made.
and perhaps most importantly:
d) I don't want to eat with my brother in law's family.

Tofu- What a b**** that kinda stuff pisses me off. I hate that they thought they needed to give you free coffee for acting like a decent human being, which should be the norm for everyone, but hey what do I know.
Stock- Are you telling him you're not going? LOL

So once I got my oatmeal, I went up to pay, and the guy was like "What the heck are you doing?" I kept trying to tell him that I hadn't paid yet, and finally he was just like, "Okay, it's free." Believe it or not, my previous Starbucks purchase was free, too, because the employees couldn't figure out how to use the WiFi there, so they said I could get whatever I wanted for free.
