I'm having drama with a guy named chris too! He's cute as hell, talented, understanding...and has a girlfriend. A cheerleader, no less. But we've been hanging out a lot recently. He told me that he has "a strong affection for me". And he once asked me how you know if you're with the right person.
Just had a pregnancy scare today with a girl who's in the show I'm in. She asked if she could put up flyers with me and we started talking. Then I found out that she had sex with a guy who is not her boyfriend, and she didn't take a pill so now she's scared she might be pregnant. I'm taking her to a pregnancy center tomorrow to get her Plan B. I'm the only one who knows and I'm sworn to never tell.
THEN I get a text from the guy who got his girlfriend pregnant after cheating on her with me, and he's joining the marines. Going to into infantry. Now he thinks he's going to do and I have no idea what he wants me to do about it.
and the show opens this Thursday. Ok. Rant done.
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
