Ok...I have a sick mind but I don't even want to tell you what BB's pic made me think of right away. It's probably just because I've been spending so much time with half-naked-hot-as-hell gay men. :)

HA. I thought the same thing! I remember when some crazy girls in my ballet classes wore those...even at that young age they looked suspect to me.

BB- Here's the plot synopsis from the press release:
Dominion Stage closes its 59th season with the endearing ?Jeffrey.? Written by Paul Rudnick, the play (recipient of the 1993 Obie Award, Outer Critic Circle Award and the John Glassner Award for Outstanding New American Play) centers on the title character, Jeffrey, an actor/waiter, who has sworn off sex after too many bouts with his partners about what is "safe" and what is not. In 1990?s gay New York, though, sex is not something you can avoid. Whether catering a ditzy socialite's "Hoe-down for AIDS" or cruising at a funeral; at the gym or in the back rooms of an anonymous sex club; at the annual Gay Pride Parade, or in the libidinous hands of a father-confessor, Jeffrey finds the pursuit of love and just plain old physical gratification to be the number-one preoccupation of his times-and the source of plenty of hilarity. Suddenly, just after he's reconciled himself to celibacy, Jeffrey's flamboyant friends introduce him to the man of his dreams, who also happens to be HIV-positive. What follows is an audacious and moving romantic comedy with a difference-one in which the quest for love and really fabulous clothes meet, and where unflagging humor prevails even when tragedy might be just around the corner.

I just watched the video and I agree. Hilarious. If I could make it down that way I totally would! Damn Oklahoma.
Speaking of which, tonight we're finishing up filming parts of rehearsal for the preview video so I'll make sure I post that sometime before Saturday! All I have to give so far is a link to the cast: http://ncp.art.officelive.com/cast.aspx

Jeffrey was made into a movie in 1995. It was really really good. Starring Steven Weber, Patrick Stewart, Christine Baranski, and Michael T. Weiss, who was on Days of Our Lives in the 80s as Dr. Mike Horton.
Rent it!
