tofu, I'm so happy for you! Having him on your side is going to make you feel so much better...and will give you strength for when you are ready to tell everyone else. That kind of support is amazing, and I'm thrilled you have it now!

SAMN - I think that's how you spell it. I was originally told it was possible to get that but I had to get surgery on my jaw when I was 16 - and the way my teeth were at 18 when everything was ready to go, invisaline wasn't plausible to fix my teeth. almost over though so nbd.

We're actually talking about my religion right now about how if you don't live up to their standards of the heterosexual lifestyle then you are excommunicated and I wouldn't be able to see or talk to my grandparents again. He understands how I feel about it and says and I quote "That that's just cruel not to talk to your family because you're a little different." Gosh I love him so much, he totally gets me right now.

Man, I have missed a ton!
I hate not having internet at home...
This weekend was awful.... I got into a screaming match with my mom and stepdad in the driveway of my grandparents house. I wasn't really that mad at them, but I had reached my breaking point with my stepdad's awful family and I finally told them that I cannot stand the situation they're in. I was just so DONE! They put themself in a bad situation and I stayed in town after high school to help them and I shouldn't have. I had this totally overdramatic moment of yelling "I should have moved to the city two years ago! I stayed for you! I STAYED FOR YOOOOU!!!"
Yeah, you get the picture.

On a good note I sang at a blues jam last night and did really well!

Oh, and 4 days till NYC!

Also, on the subject of Jon and Kate, while I think its sad that they are getting divorced and I'm as sick of them in the media as anyone, this was posted today on a co-worker's Facebook and I think it's a bit much:

Yeah, it is sad. The writing was on the wall in their behavior. Unfortunately, it appeared they lost their place in their roles and responsibilities. Satan loves to use these opportunities to destroy marriages, families and the glory of God. It appears they either chose not to seek Godly counsel or chose not to follow the recomendations of any counsel. Pray for their repentance, forgiveness & reconciliation.

Tofu- OMG!!! That is so freakin awesome and exciting for you! It's so good to know you have someone in your family on your side. My best friend finally told his cousin and he was cool with it, too.
