You shall be missed dearly.

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

Haha, Hump day! Heeheehee...

I had a blast in NYC.... totally didn't want to leave. I am going to try to go to school there next fall ( I would go in the spring but my stupid self made a commitment to doing costumes for a show in the spring :-p ). Hair was AMAZING, and I was so glad I got to meet Piano! I ended up seeing Rock of Ages twice... it's just so damn fun! Oh, and I got stuck in the rain on 7th Avenue on the way to see ROA the first time.... I showed up at the theater drenched! LOL

I have to say... being back in Ithaca kinda sucks...... I am kinda done with this place. 20 years in the same place is a bit much!

How are y'all doing?

It's not a real party unless I'm there

That is true. I Enjoy Being a Girl

So, I watched The Aristocats last night... that movie is amazing. But it was definitely my childhood. I made my mom call me Kitten Marie all the time. And I forgot how hilarious that movie is, especially Edgar the butler.

I think the most classic part is when the Siamese cat pulls out a pair of chopsticks, banging on the piano, and singing, "Shanghai, Hong-Kong, Egg Foo Young, Fortune Cookie Always Wrong!"

Hi Ladies! things have sort of simmered with the family for now... hopefully it'll just plain out resolve soon.

I was helping my mom at one of her buildings - cleaning a room that a tenant left disgusting, and there was glass that I didn't see and it cut my fingers up while I was trying to wipe away some unknown residue. so it actually hurts to type right now. [right index fingers and left middle finger - two prime typing/texting fingers! ahh] but do you think that'll stop me?

Does anyone think that maybe now that it's July the rain will stop?

I know Firefly. It's my second favourite sci-fi/western that was cut down after a single season. :3 (Although technically, I suppose The Adventures of Brisco County Jr is a western/sci-fi.)

No rain here! So we put the baby in the paddling pool and let him splash everyone. Which was nice.

Good afternoon (or evening for the east coasters) y'all! It is hot today. I can't tell if I'm melting or sweating. I'm singing this song called Va Godendo in singing lessons, and it's much harder than it looks/sounds. Oy vey.

So, I'm not a complainer by nature, but I've had a crap week.

I'm having issues w/ my phone (aggravating!), argued w my mom, 3 of my friends got laid off, I have been insanely busy at work, and today, the guy I've been seeing ended things via text.

The good news is I'm off tomorrow and Friday so I plan on drinking heavily.

I hope everyone else's week is going better than mine...

Eh. Mine's not so good either. I was a little disppointed by my dance class. I hope it gets better. I think my family may be going to San Francisco since I have Friday off. That's a maybe though, but I'm still hopeful!

OK, Newgirl. The text breakup?? That is horrifying.

Although if I ever decide to divorce my husband, I am totally doing it via text. He's a Gossip Girl fan. He could deal with it.

BASTARD! You're well done with him then!!!

And Weez, please do let Aaron know. I like to think the 20-some year age difference wouldn't be a problem for either of us.

I am going to marry Josh Groban. He just doesn't know it yet. And to hell with age differences!
