You'd think it would be a great opening line from a play, but:
My neighbor died and while the EMT's were putting her on the gurney her body slipped and her head landed on my foot.
I now know what "dead weight" really means.
Of course, we all could not stop laughing...
She would have loved that.

Of course, it's sad about my neighbor (friend as well... ), but I must admit, dark as it may be, it's still funny.
Hey, good theatre is good theatre, whether I like it or not.
(BTW: the foot's feeling a bit better; wish the weather were--atmosphere doesn't help the pain.)
