I work as a transplant coordinator (an RN) and prostate cancer is often so treatable that it doesn't even keep men from going on to get a new kidney. Odd comfort, I know.
No kind of cancer is fun. (This, too, I know...) But my point, no matter how poorly made, is that you have every reason to expect that this will be easily treatable. But it's normal to worry, so I wish him, and you, the best.
