Anyone else watching? It's the best episode in a long, long time!!!
Bang!
The last ep I watched was the stand-off at the super market with Laurie Metcalf. It was great.
but I stopped watching for some reason.
Central Casting must have used EVERY homo on their roster.
So what ep are you in Diva?
I'm in Maine, so it just finished with a flash forward of 5 years.
New cast members!
WHAT?! WHAT?! I'm freaking out.
The ending...what is going on?!?!
So I guess that rumor that the next season is going to take place five years later is true?
Ugh, so good. I'm so glad the show is so great again.
omg. that was insane.
and awesome.
wow.
Holy cr*p!
who the ef was that?
Spoiler.
So it's like their starting over again?
And Katherine is an OFFICIAL house wife now.
This better be online. I've been watching the Drama Desks.
No more Mike?!
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Which will probably bring Edie back again, since all of that time has passed.
I was a little worried it was ending with everything all wrapped up, with no cliff hanger.
Nice fake out, Mr. Cherry!
and i thought gabby was unable to have children after she fell down the stairs and miscarried. i thought that damaged something and she couldn't have kids.
Yeah! I was worried no cliff hanger too.
But now. No Mike wow. And I think I read Edie definitely comes back.
I can't wait for next season!
Gaby could've adopted?
The 5 years later was great because as Kayla was being driven away my first thought was "they could totally soap opera rapid age her and bring her back next year." And they could even moreso now, lol.
I must have missed the episode when Gabby hurt her va-jay-jay.
It was such a great episode I can't get over it. I really hope it finally gets as many Emmy nominations as it deserves this year.
Just because Mike wasn't in the flash forward doesn't mean he won't be there! Right?!?
It did play like a series, and not just a season, finale until the very last moment. Very well done!
This show is leagues better than some of the garbage that gets tons of Emmy nods (TWO AND A HALF MEN, GREYS ANATOMY...) and I wish it would be looked at as more than un-award-worthy fluff. It's great television and one of the best shows on TV right now, in my opinion. It's much more Emmy worthy than some of the shows that are constantly getting nominated.
Well, maybe this season will receive more nominations in the major categories, but the last two seasons weren’t particularly award-worthy (and even Marc Cherry admitted that second year was just a mess). It did receive a slew of nominations for its first (and still best) season.
Are you sure that the show is jumping ahead 5 years at the start of next season? It actually wouldn't be a bad idea, but I thought that Cherry was just giving viewers a glimpse of what the housewives' lives would be like in 5 years. He has said that he's committed to ending the series after 3 more seasons and he claims that he's mapped out all of the storylines that far in advance. The way I took it was that he was just showing us where they're going to be in 5 years, and will now back-track and show us how they get there. But I could be wrong. I actually like the idea of them jumping ahead 5 years. But then would it be the year 2013 when they return in the fall?
It's absolutely jumping. Here's an article/interview with Cherry discussing all the new stuff.

Oddly enough. He might want to end the series pre-season 1. In the past. He's crazy, I love it.
