The orphanage could be a repressed memory for the Romanian Dylan. It could have been a traumatic experience she blocked out.
Wouldn't she have had to first learn English at that point? And learn to respond to a new name to the point that she could fool EVERYONE who knew Katherine and the real Dylan??? Can you really block THAT much out? That's VERY far-fetched.
THAT is very far fetched. But you never know. But anyway it's a TV show. lol.
I don't know about you but I don't remember anything from when I was five years old.
I don't think it's THAT far-fetched.
I remember a couple of things about my life before six, so I think it's somewhat plausible that Dylan didn't remember, plus she did tell Julie that she had nightmares and such.
The dresser scene WAS chilling and Dana Delaney's scream was just...wow, so haunting. If anyone deserves an Emmy nod from the cast (apart from the implacable yet terribly underrated Eva Longoria), it is this woman, she injected fresh air into the series and I hope she remains a desperate housewife throughout the end of the series.
After Season 1, I think this is the best mystery they have had so far, I can't even remember what was the one from Season 3... oh yeah that Monique thing, ugh. If it hadn't been for the strike, I think this might have been the best one yet.
So did Gaby and Carlos get to keep the drug dealer's money? I hope so. Also, I don't think Carlos will remain blind through the end of the series. We don't even know if they're together at this point actually.
I appreciated the season finale, yes it was taken from LOST, but you know what? If it works, then let them, stealing is the best form of flattery.

My mother dressed me as Big Ben for Halloween. She covered a box in butcher paper and used a quarter to make the circle that was the base of the hands on the clock.
When I was at school, before the parade, we had nap time and I found that I could curl up inside the box. The whole class woe up and went out to do the school's parade and I was still asleep. I got locked in the class room and missed the whole parade.
For my birthday that year, she made a pumpkin shaped cake and then used aluminum foil that was shaped into the stem, and covered it in green fosting.
You remember.
Okay, I mean I have very vague memories of being five years old but nothing extremely clear or vivid. So, especially since Katherine got her from this orphanage and wanted to make sure she didn't remember it, I'm sure she did everything she could to block it out of her memory...they'll probably explain it next season...they usually don't leave too many plot holes on the show which is saying something considering all of the crazy characters and things that happen episode after episode.

>>Just because Mike wasn't in the flash forward doesn't mean he won't be there! Right?!?
I think that they might be taking a nod from "Lost." Just because they flash-forwarded 5 years in one episode doesn't mean the show will remain linear next season. Maybe they've given us a means to an end in terms of direction of the show by the time it does actually end. They might flash forward and back to present time, every now and then. They'd kind of have to, so we can see how they got to that 5-years-ahead point, at the least.
I agree it was a phenomenal cliffhanger, though.
Exactly, regardless of how they handle it during Season 5, the finale made for GREAT TV, and more importantly will keep a lot of people guessing and wanting to see the show when it begins in the fall...Unlike Season 3 that had that boring Edie suicide (and I kinda wish they had killed her off then).
