Not to say that it's totally jumped the shark but it's coming close to Will & Grace territory with those whole parade of guest stars. I realize that Shorty and Tiffany have been on before but Mary Cherry, Mark Zuckerberg and Jenna Maroney haven't been. The one I didn't have issue with was Mary Cherry because she is always THE BEST.

Jenna Maruoney is not a person.
You're thinking of Jane Krakowski. She played the character Jenna on 30 Rock. And I thought she was great on 30 rock - and she wasn't really a guest "star". She played a bit part.
No sh!t. I referred to all of those people as characters they're famous for playing.
Tiffany = Jennifer Tilly, Mary Cherry = Leslie Grossman, Mark Zuckerberg = Jesse Eisenberg
And when she is called out in a promo for the episode then she is a guest star.

I have no idea what a Mary Cherry is.
No, me either. And Jennifer Tilly will always be Olive to me.

Weird seeing Olive and Cheech there - considering BULLETS OVER BROADWAY is opening on Broadway in a couple of months.

Loved tonight's episode. Everything about it.

The Las Vegas episode last night was their best episode this year. Loved the guest stars (Stephen Merchant, Fred Armisen and Patton Oswalt). The farcical elements of the last 15 minutes with the three connecting rooms were hilarious!

It was brilliant, definitely their best episode of the year. ReBARKa. I will never stop laughing.

It had all the trappings of an episode of theirs I typically hate. Expensive travel and entitled behavior. And yet the farcical stuff was hilarious.
Not a fan of Fred Armisen's gay voice, his regular voice is plenty gay enough.

I swear they've used the "doggie in the window" joke before, but maybe I'm misremembering.
I used to really like Mitch and Cam when the show started, but now I think they have one of the most dysfunctional relationships on tv.

Everybody's gotten more neurotic on the show. I'm just grateful when the nanny isn't on.

I feel that way about Lily!
I don't get why the show keeps having these vacation episodes. Are we to believe that an ENTIRE family goes together to Australia? It seems like such a waste of money for the show to do all that filming for one episode that wasn't even that great. Does the cast and crew just want to go to these places so they write random episodes about it?
I always thought the vacation episodes were a riff on The Brady Bunch, with their Hawaii and Grand Canyon episodes.
I've said before that Modern Family is sort of an inverted Brady Bunch. The adults are constantly in a state of confusion creating all the antics, while the children have the wisdom and do the problem solving.
"Crocodile Dunphy" How long have they been waiting to use that one?
At least in the 80s they would save the vacation episodes for AWESOME TV movies like Facts of Life Goes to Paris! And the epic spy caper of Family Ties Vacation in London! A missed opportunity, I'm telling ya...

Kittens and puppies!
Oh my.
I kind of liked the Australia episode.
The scenes with Luke and Manny cracked me up, and I thought there were some very funny lines.
Still enjoy the show!
Super gross to be talking about a minor child's breasts. Creepy and weird.
The Australia episode was good, I wish they would have done a few more episodes there.
I assumed Addison meant that under the dowdy clothes was a very lovely young woman. I actually hadn't noticed her breasts until you mentioned them.
I liked the Aussie ep, as well.

Ewww. Creepy and weird. Brings back terrible memories.
Reg--you are, as ever, the soul of gallant chivalry, but let's face it: I was totally referring to her breasts.
I confess that I was completely caught off guard by Sutton's response.
In my defense, I can only say that, A) I had no idea she was so young (classic pedophile excuse, but there it is...) and, B) as I am about a 13 on the Kinsey scale, there was absolutely nothing sexual, prurient or salacious in my observation. That photo triggered precisely as much sexual response in my mind as a photo of Mt. Everest--I just observed that they were really, really large, and it surprised me.
Sutton's comment made me think about whether I would post a crotch shot of Nolan Gould, an idea which I found completely "creepy and weird", and so I have removed the photo.
Move on, people, nothing to see here...

I was only kidding with my echo. Sutton is trying to whip up a storm in a teacup.
