When I was in High School, during lunch, I used to pee in the art room sink.
Let me explain.
The school's bathrooms were so filthy - I hated going in there.
The Art Teacher, Mrs. Lewis, adored me. Especially, after the abstract oil painting I did of Jim Morrison and my homage of Maria Callas in decoupage
Anyway - I would often be allowed to work in the Art Room during lunch. One time, I had to go badly - with no way to get to the nearest john - and...
I just let it rip in the art room sink.
From then on, peeing in the art room sink during lunch became the norm.
This went on for years.
My friend TJ was the only one who knew and threatened to quit school if I took "...a dump in the kiln"..
Yes - I know now how disgusting this was..
Yes, I know now how wrong it was.....
Yes, I get how germ riddden this act was - never mind - how bad for the pipes...
What I'm getting at is if you choose too, you may hold the actions of a 15 year old against me for the rest of my life and assume that, to this day, I pee anywhere and everywhere that takes my fancy.
I will not be popular for saying this but it is LUDICROUS to hold someone accountable for something they did in 10th grade and it is even more ludicrous to assume what they did in homeroom in 1965 translates to whom they may or may not be now.
God help us all if it comes out Obama made fun of the girl with the big jugs in 11th grade.

I agree that we really can't hold people totally responsible for the actions of their 16 year old selves....but the problem isn't really that: the problem is of his seemingly lack of personal responsibility about the whole thing. He doesn't 'remember'? Hogwash.
If he 'manned up' to it, and prayed that no child ever experienced the kind of torment he put those kids through, I might let this one go.

I can't remember what episode of SMASH I just watched (but who can, really). And that was Monday.
