Posted: 12/11/05 at 7:17pmYou obviously can't run a place like BWW the same way TWoP is run simply because of the range of topics being discussed, but the dictatorial strictness of the format is really, really nice to anyone who doesn't want to have to make mental translations in order to understand people's posts.

Exactly. I wouldn't want this board run like that. But the way it's run is so neat and organized, that it's very user-friendly. And the rules keeps the posters on the boards mature enough to have legitimate discussions about things like the homoerotic subtext of Johnny Quest.

This is a great thread. I was going to agree that it pisses me off when people don't bother to read over their posts to make sure they have spelled at least 75% of the words in their post correctly, but that would prevent my favorite kinds of posts, where people say things like:
u are so stupid and uninteligent andi don't understend why you think you're opinon are so smart.
Okay I'm exaggerating but it always cracks me up when people insult each other's intelligence but don't bother to spell check their post first and misspell words like intelligence.

I usually a stickler for having the correct number of syllables. That was out of character for me.
Also, attempting to rhyme words that DO NOT RHYME makes me crazy. I don't believe in that "slant rhyme" bull sh*t.
