Well I have posted my feelings about gay marriage. I have his Poses CD and I just can't listen to it all the way through. Some of my gay friends can't understand why I don't like his music. Does this mean I get a mark against my gay card?

I can't listen to his 'music' (especially that Carnegie Hall . . . event.)

I've never been able to tolerate much of even listening to him speak.

It frustrates me to no end to have the Libertarian point of view bastardized by his inane kind of comment, especially since the addendum of the dog nonsense is antithetical to the concept of consenting adults making choices as free people of liberty.

I also don't see the point of bringing up the issue of past meth addiciton. But PJ and I frequently have issues with each other's presentation - which, at this point, is pretty much just two old rams butting heads simply to remind each other they can.

I've been a fan of his for a while, and I've seen him live. I think he's great. Although, I didn't really care for 'Release the Stars' at all. I can't really get through it. Some of his songs are just really really boring.

I do like him though, and he has some great music. I'm a fan.

Judas - to bring this back to the original post, which is what this thread was really about - his comment was inappropriate and out of line. It didn't even line up with what he said he was representing - the Libertarian viewpoint.

The comments that have followed concerning him as a person or an artist are just that, what followed.

And I personally find him without merit.

A Dry Drunk may be dry and yet STILL act like a drunken idiot.

Rufus's comments were stupid and ill-considered. He may not be doing crystal any longer, but he still frequently acts with highly impaired judgment.

I actually enjoy his music, but tend not to listen to it very often because I can barely stand listening to him sing it.

Stupid comment, yeah. I don't really take him seriously, though. He wears his contentious offshoot of laissez faire draped lazily like a natty scarf.
