A pox on that! How could she have borne and raised such a glamorous, fabulous creature, then?
Again, like you.

I've got a friend who's big and she knows how to dress. Very tastefully done, with her heels and all. She's also got an amazing voice...if you watch the American Idol audition process, the most recent one in Miami, she can be seen salsa dancing for the camera!
First of all Stagey, I've never said I was glamorous or fabulous. I have said I drink martinis and live on Central Park West.
Jaily, like so many other gay men before me (and after) I created myself to escape a drab, unimaginative home life.
Honey, you are preaching to the choir on that one. I was practically born in a ditch in the woods.
My point exactly, Jaily.
Y'all will NOT upstage my trailer park upbringing ... with rats as pets.
And my point exaclt rob. It's all in knowing how to dress.
So, in summary I would like to posit that all avs are fabulous and glamorous whether they be heavy or thin, gay or straight, or man or woman.
We rock.
Hello folks!
I don't have rehearsal tonight, so I'm gonna have an entirely ROZ evening!
Also, I apparently downloaded White Oleander onto my computer, but I suuuuure don't remember.
I was born in a one-room hut, but my pets were cockroaches. Seriously.
I also had two Auntie Mame type influences. One of my father's sisters was a very warm, supporting and loving presence who encouraged everything and anything artistic; the other was my mother's older sister who never married (yes, we all suspected...) and lived down the street from me. I was her favorite, and while she wasn't any more fabulous than my mother, she was far more imaginative and also encouraged and supported everything I did. I miss them both terribly.
What happened to them?
One died at in 1995, the other in 2001. They were both well into their 80s when they died.

::comes in from the cold to say hello:: Hello.
Mauriposa, how cold is it where YOU live?
"Pimp-slaps," Harris? Bitch, please.
I was born in a four-bedroom upper-middle class house with fish and guinea pigs for pets. Pity me! Look how uninspiring my early life was!

My car said 7, but it feels colder. I'm particularly bothered by it because I wanted to wear my new skirt today.
*gives Scott the ol' spit-n-push* I'll give you inspiring, you little bastard.
"The ol' spit-n-push"? That sounds like a Craigslist post waiting to happen.

My childhood was the same, Scotty. I just turned on Annie when I was in need of some "hard-knock" education.

I'd have to agree with Taz...we pretty much rock. Only the people that post in this thread though. Everyone else is not so cool.
