I never even had Annie, mauriposa! My experience with the lower classes was entirely through the gritty, inner-city life portrayed in that urban masterpiece Sesame Street.
You really need tied up and slapped around a bit.

Quite possibly Calvin, if the is your interpretation. Your are James Dean cool!
FYI, I'm quite proud of my crappy childhood, beatings and all. I wear my scars with pride.

Thanks, Robos! Yes, I do love the Boyz. And I just learned that the Chicago production is going to close March 30. I'm quite the sad girl.
Scotty, what can I say? That Oscar the Grouch is one bad mo-fo.
Good, because...
....I didn't make the cut last time!
Oh, Jaily. We all know you're just saying that because you like picturing it in your head.
Oh please Calvin. You have always been cool in my book - cooler after I met you, of course, but always cool nonetheless.

Yea, Mauriposa, it is!! Have you seen it?!
My friend is in it. He's an understudy though, for all 5 Boyz! His name is Joey Haro, go look for those understudy slips!!
I don't know who I'd play, though?!?! What do you think??
Calvin, you're on my list!!
Along with...everyone else who posts here
I used to be a renegade. I used to fool around. But I couldn't take the punishment. I had to settle down.

Going for the 5th time on Sunday. I've actually never seen either of the understudies, but it's very cool that you know Joey. If I were a man, I think I would want to play Mark, just because his role seems to be the biggest crowd-pleaser. Of course, as a woman, Abraham is my favorite. And not just because he's a Neil Diamond in the rough.
I'm too cool for this thread. I'm just slummin' here.
Yay for Altar Boyz love! I saw the original Off-Broadway cast numerous times. I spent way too much money on that show, but it was hella addicting and worth every penny. It's now been almost two years since I've seen it last. I've been debating going back to see how it's held up with all the cast changes.

Stagey...you weren't on the list.
Mauripose, I've seen it twice. But wen my regional theatre did it. It actually just closed this Sunday! Our Mark was an Ithaca grad. He was brilliant, just amazing. Amazing voice and great character work! Our Luke was actually Ven Daniel! He was in Tarzan and he was in Broadway Bares...I'm sure you've seen him. And then were some other notable guys in the cast! But it was a great shows.
My mom said Matthew, but I feel like it's an "ehh" part. My friends say Juan, but "ehh" again. Maybe it was the guy that played Juan. He wasn't very good, at all. It was blah.
Stagey, you're so cool that you're cold.

This Chicago cast is top notch. They blow the pants off the national tour I saw in Oct. 06. And they make it all look so easy, which, I think, is the hardest part.
Frigid, Deet.
Stagey, you're cuh-cold as ice (ice, ice, ice, ice ice)

Thanks Calvin, now I have Vanilla Ice stuck in my head...
omg, a Paula Abdul reference. I just died and went to 90s gay heaven!!
You're right, btw, Scott. I do enjoy picturing that.
A lot.
I actually was going to go to Vanilla Ice, but that seemed too obvious, so I stuck with Paula. I'll happily admit that the 1990 megamix of the "Forever Your Girl" album remains on my iPod.

I'm reminded of the old Dana Carvey "Chopping Broccoli" skit.
"She's cold as ice . . . paradise."
I was thinking Paula Abdul, too.
