Am I a bad person b/c I like torture porn? I really enjoy all those uber-graphic movies, but everyone seems to think they are useless.
It's kind of like wanting to see how far the envelope can be pushed. And the more "creative" the kills are the cooler I find the film.
Really, I think people take this stuff way too seriously.

Maybe he's just avoiding me.

In Guatemala, I was friends with this girl and her family bred roosters for cockfights. They'd attach this razor-like spur on their legs and watch them attack each other to death. It's quite gruesome in retrospect.

I feel the same about the whole idea whether it be roosters, dogs, or humans. Just gruesome and idiotic. Esp. with the animals because it's not like they have a choice. If I ever meet these people...I'd be MORE than just a regular angry scary Tink.

Humans? Does that mean you don't watch boxing?

How do you feel about greyhound racing? Several years ago, it was put forth on the ballot here in Mass. and people voted to keep it. Apparently, it brings in a lot of revenue. For the record, I voted for a ban. Incidentally, tattoo parlors were legalized that same year.

Jaily, yet another reason why I LOVE you! They bashed me on the Eli Roth thread for liking it.
I hate people who have that "I don't see any value in it so it must not have any" mentality. It's a decidedly right wing mindset which I find curious.

Now, I can watch people being torn apart in a movie. But I can't stand to watch a real operation. The fact that I know it's fake makes it watchable somehow.

How do you feel about snuff films, taz?

Back when I had cable, I loved to watch operation shows on DISCOVERY HEALTH and the like. I'd even do it while eating my dinner. I have a strong stomach, I guess.
