I saw the tour, the guy that played Toby wasn't all too good. But he was sick. I went back with my mom and the understudy didn't play the violin, only the clarinet (I think he plays). This guy had a better voice but not so much a good actor!

Ah. I'm seeing that tour in April. I just got my tickets two days ago.
Yeah, Doyle's Sweeney Todd
But it's one of those "my friend told me" kinda things so I'm not sure how correct it is.

I just find it hard to believe they would record it on tour and not when it was on Broadway. And, of course, if they had recoded it on Broadway, we would have known about it by now.

Also, Pirelli bothered me a bit. I'm not sure why, I couldn't really figure it out. I loved Judy Kaye, though!
I hope, if they record it, they record it with Judy Kaye. She was fabulous as Mrs. Lovett.
ETA: I wish what?

Well, the same guy said that they were waiting until the movie died down. Now that the DVD is coming out, they might release it around the same time, or wait.
I dunno. It might just be a rumor.
maybe it was too expensive to get the bway cast to agree to a taping. Who knows, but I hope it's true~!
Thanks for the compliment nits.

And if not, we'll always have the Hearn/Lansbury DVD.
Who wants to go play Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky for me tonight?

Only if you want to write my thesis for me.

I would totally play for you Jaily...if I still knew how to play violin, although I think you said you were playing the viola?!
yes, viola. And now apparently I'm sitting principal since my roommate just called and told me she's not coming. Grrr.

That sounds like it sucks! Of course, I wouldn't really know, but it sounds bad!
Good news! Ivan went for an interview at 12:30 and he just called to say that he's going into his second interview.
It looks like he's gonna get the job! Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I finally felt comfortable enough to take some Shia photos.
Look how happy Shia looks! He's such a ham.
And here's another:
Ivan's home from his interviews. He talked to a regional manager that said she had to give courtesy interviews to two other people, which sounds like good news to us.

Akiva- That is a damn fine poster. I'd see that show.
