ARRGHH! This had been such a good trip back home and all my friends seemed to have finally overcome their habit of last minute ditching me and changing plans without telling me...until tonight. This is my last night in town (and for the first time ever I really have NO clue when I will next be back) and I was supposed to go for drinks with a whole bunch of people. Now nobody is answering their phones and the ones that are, are canceling on me, leaving me home alone on my last night home. I'm not so much angry as sad that I won't get to say proper goodbye to them.

I don't want to rush through the last book. I will be sad when it is over. I am going to take my time and try and stay away from the internet untll I finish. I am loving it so far.

Hey folks! I wasn't expecting to be near a computer for weeks, but luckily I've found a minute.
I'm off to see Colm Wilkinson in Dublin tonight, and then I'm off on Tuesday! Hope all are well!

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Like, hi n'stuff! :)
Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.
Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

I'm doing fine.
polly, no, I don't like being touched by strangers... unless they pay upfront.
Is it me, or does Colm Wilkinson sound like Sean Connery?
