Guantanamo Bay will house 30,000 migrants, turned into a detention camp
Naturally the scumbag is blaming today's crash due to the fact that the pilot was a DEI hire.
Members of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee received a memo Tuesday saying that the department is eliminating the membership of all advisory committees as part of a “commitment to eliminating the misuse of resources and ensuring that DHS activities prioritize our national security.”
The aviation security committee, which was mandated by Congress after the 1988 PanAm 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland, will technically continue to exist but it won’t have any members to carry out the work of examining safety issues at airlines and airports. Before Tuesday, the group included representatives of all the key groups in the industry — including the airlines and major unions — as well as members of a group associated with the victims of the PanAm 103 bombing. The vast majority of the group’s recommendations were adopted over the years.
Great.
any Trump supports care to comment? Bueller… Bueller… Bueller
At the direction of the Trump administration, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and its agencies have removed various webpages containing information on topics including adolescent health, LGBTQ+ rights, and HIV. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) no longer hosts multiple pages referencing LGBTQ+ health.
A webpage from the HHS Office for Civil Rights detailing LGBTQ+ rights in healthcare settings has also been taken down. Additionally, the website of the National Institutes of Health’s Office for Sexual & Gender Minority Research is no longer accessible. These pages remain available through the Internet Archive. Other removals include CDC’s AtlasPlus, an interactive tool with surveillance data on HIV, viral hepatitis, STDs, and TB.
A webpage providing information on HIV testing is also no longer available.
The CDC’s Social Vulnerability Index, which assesses community resilience during natural disasters, has been removed as well. In response, the Infectious Diseases Society of America stated that the removal of these resources creates a gap in scientific information and data monitoring for disease outbreaks. The organization emphasized the importance of access to this information for healthcare professionals and public health efforts related to HIV and infectious diseases.
Any who voted for this administration needs to know, that they members of the LGBTQ community, sick, scared, and dead.
And I hope these posts are a daily reminder of the damage you voted for.
I noticed Faux News isn't reporting on the tariffs that are going in effect tomorrow for Canada, Mexico and China.
Can a Republican explain how eliminating the Department of Education is a good thing? Or eliminating OSHA? MAGAs sure are quiet these days...
Y’all, this is straight-up terrifying. Elon Musk now has access to the Treasury Department’s payment system—aka the system that handles Social Security checks, federal salaries, and trillions in government payments. How? His so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) was originally set up under Trump to “cut spending,” but now it’s somehow in charge of disbursing federal funds and handling taxpayer data.
That means Musk and his people can see Social Security numbers, payment details, and basically the entire financial infrastructure of the U.S. government. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
He could mess with payments – Imagine Social Security checks getting “delayed” because someone at DOGE wants to tweak the system or cut costs.
• Privacy risks – Musk now has access to sensitive taxpayer data. Given his track record with Twitter/X, does anyone trust him with that?
Zero accountability – He’s an unelected billionaire controlling government money. That’s not how this should work. Lawmakers and watchdog groups are already raising alarms, and a lawsuit has been filed to try and stop this. But the fact that it even got this far is ridiculous. What can we do?
• Support the lawsuit trying to block Musk’s control.
• Call your reps and tell them to put a stop to this.
• Spread the word—this should be a way bigger deal than it is.
And for any MAGA folks out there—how do you feel about an unelected billionaire being handed control over federal payments? This isn’t some deep-state bureaucrat, this is a private citizen with zero oversight now managing Social Security and taxpayer money. Does that sit right with you?
So the orange idiot seriously wants to buy Greenland and rename it "Red, White and Blueland"!?!? Come on!

If someone subsequently does cause harm to others, then that's the real crime that deserves to be punished. (I know I'm an extremist on this. I'm fine with that.)
Yep, you are an extremist on this issue. Not even going to try and debate it."
Well, I am going to try and debate it.
I challenge you to tell me why a person crossing a particular line in the sand constitutes such a severe offense that it justifies other people pointing guns at that person and putting them in a cage. Don't refer to hypothetical harms - because it's obviously not right to punish an individual for something they may or may not do in the future - but actual harms done when the line is crossed.
feels like he's setting up for WW3 and doesn't care. Him just "taking Gaza" plus the Ukraine-Russia war situation should be scaring a lot of people.

Inflation Update: Prices Keep Climbing The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report shows that inflation remains stubbornly high, with no immediate relief in sight.
Here are the key takeaways:
• CPI increased by 0.5% this month, bringing annual inflation to 3%, both higher than expected. Core inflation (excluding food and energy) also rose 0.4% for the month and 3.3% annually.
• Housing costs continue to rise, up 0.4%, while food prices increased 0.4% and energy prices climbed 1.1%. Gasoline saw a particularly sharp increase at 1.8%.
The Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates steady for an extended period, with the next potential rate cut pushed out to September following this report.
