Dammit! I always miss the fun!
Hmmm, favorite line from American Beauty...gonna have to go with Mena Suvari in the whole scene where she's talking about sleeping with a fashion photographer. And then when the girl gives her attitude and walks off, she just stands there for a second and then yells, "C*NT!"
Hi-larious. I've seen that movie ten thousand times and I still giggle every time I watch that part.
So how is everyone this morning? Hungover and horny or what?

Hmmmm, never much of anything, DGG. Probably cleaning and shopping, if I feel motivated enough. My father is engrossed in the Ultimate Fighting marathon. I can only stand that stuff for a few hours, so I gotta get outta here!
What about you? Feeling better?

Quite a bit, thanks! I sound really, really man-like, but I feel better than I have in days. Not nearly as painfull.
I'm listenign to Regina Spektor, finishing up all of my homework for Monday so thatI don't have to worry about it while I'm in the city tomorrow, and then making zucchinni bread for Stagey. And chowing down on starlight mints, since we're out of cough drops.
Ooooh, I love making zucchini bread. My grandmother grew it in her backyard over the summer and it just flourished so we were eating zucchini EVERYTHING. Zucchini bread, grilled zucchini, fried zucchini, we found this great recipe for a kind of zucchini quiche with zucchini, onions, cheese and eggs with a Pillsbury crescent-roll crust. The bread was the best, though--we baked like six loaves every weekend and they were gone by the following Sunday.
I have soooo much homework to do (actually, mostly catch-up work, I do infact have a zero percent in one of my classes) but I'm saving it for tomorrow. As you can imagine, I'm just overflowing with anticipation to get to it.
Hey peeps! Never did get to talk to my friend last night - fell asleep and woke up to a text from her sent right after I did so. Oh well, maybe tonight.
Reading back and catching up - loved American Beauty, haven't seen Running With Scissors but the book was wonderful, and liked Being Julia although my bf though I would loooove it due to some past career experiences. Usually she's pretty dead on on what I will like and not, but that time she was a little more enthusiastic than I.
DGG, glad you're better!

I adore zucchinni bread! I worked in a farm stand/greenhouse over the summer, and I brought home bags of the stuff every day. Combined with the pounds of it that we grew in our own garden, we were eating it in much the same way as you were, all summer! Stagey loves it, and it's his birthday on Monday, so it'll be his present.
Ah, homework. As you can see, I'm on BWW in between editing a short story for my creative writing class. I'm not THAT anxious to get it done! I missed most of school on Thursday and all on Friday, so I don't have much homework until I get all the stuff I missed. Than I'm in for it...
Oooh there is a Diana Scarwid movie I've never seen on Lifetime right now! It's me lucky day, it is!

Hey Rath! Thanks! Sorry you didn't get to chat with your friend last night, though.
I've decided I liek Regina Spektor a lot. Especially "Apres Moi."
I'm not big on Regina Spektor, I dunno why. Maybe she's not my type of music. Just can't get into her.
I love Annette in pretty much everything, especially The American President. Love that movie.
Stagey and taz, the Orfeh freaks have arrived on your thread (at the same time, as per usual).
Oh I am trying so hard to resist posting on that thread...*snicker*

I just read it...funny stuff!
Yeah, I wasn't sure Regina was my type. It's growing on me, though.
ETA: My story is finished, if anyone wants a peek. I actually like this one.

That class I have a zero percent in? The guy I've liked since freshman year (he's practically my twin, we really are the same person) also has a zero. it's a film class, and we missed seeing like half the movies so that's why we didn't do the work. I was just talking to him about how furious my mother was and he is having the same problem, so he said, "Why don't we just get together during the week and rent the movies and we can watch them together?"
Who ever thought that failing a class could be a good thing?
Oh, DGG, I'd love to read it!
