Oh Gads, Jersey! Hope everything's OK!
This time next month, Linnie? Let's make plans!
Hope everybody had fun! I'm going to type some more essays. Woot.

7th-11th of December I believe, DGG! Even if it's just for a short time, I'd love to meet some BWWers face-to-face. Makes things much more friendly.
Everything is fine. One of the little guys I work with had a seizure and his mother was at a conference in Atlanta. Kids with autism often get seizures with the onset of puberty. His dad asked me to come. It was a long night, but all is well.

Poor thing! That's so sad! I hope everything's stays OK.
Awsome, Linnie. I hope the strike is over by then, but if not, we could all do lunch or something. My mom's all for it.
Good afternoon everyone!

I didn't even think that the strike would last that long! Jesus. I was looking at a week at most.
I would absolutely love to do lunch with you, mom 'n all, but what about my mom??? I doubt she'd be too far for it.
If I do use the book & post-it in the drawer trick soon, my mom might understand. I'm running out of time!!!
I was hoping to see perhaps Young Frankstein & Curtains.
ETA: And a friend of mine has just told me he got a callback to London this weekend coming for an audition for SPring Awakening he did there. Oh dear!
Thanks DGG! Where are you applying?
That's great about Spring Awakening Lin. I really wish I would have gone to the open calls last year. I have so many friends who are going to New York again and again for multiple callbacks from those. It is ridiculous. One of the guys from my show back in the spring, went to the Boston call before a matinee (I didn't go because I didn't think I'd be back in time for curtain) and he's now the Melchior understudy on Broadway and has been playing the role during Groff's vacation. Ah, c'est la vie! I hope your friend gets it!

Wow! That's cool!
I'm hoping it won't last that long, as well. I've never seen a Broadway show.
Hmmm. If you don't get around to the book thing by then, you could tell your mom that we're friends from some other message board or something. I dunno. I'll try and think of something for you. I want ths to work, but I don't want you to be in trouble for it!

Never? Poor thing!
Yeah, Actr. I'm not an SA person myself, but I wish I got breaks like that. I'm bound to never get those.
DGG, come up with ideas. I'll get the book back from my friend tomorrow, and as soon as I pluck up the courage I'll do it. Hopefully. Maybe. ARGH! Meanwhile, you get ideas together and take care of yourself. I'd also love to meet everyone else. I know taz is unfortunately in VA, but Deet and Jaily and the rest of you might be in reach. Liam said we could catch up when I'm in Woodbury.

Stagey's birthday is the 10th, I believe, and I think he wanted to come to the city that weekend or something. Rath lives there as well. We were planning brunch around that time anyway, so this could all work out! I'm so excited!
I'll brainstorm some ideas and ask my friends for help. We'll think of something. Is the issue just that your mom won't want to take the time, or that she'll suspect that you're gay if you meet people from a Broadway board?
Actr- I'm applying to Nazareth (done), SUNY Cortland (done), Pace U., The Hartt School, and Plymouth State.

I don't care if my mom thinks or finds out if I'm gay anymore.
She'll thing that if I'm meeting people from ANY site on the internet I'll be beaten, raped and murdered. She's like that.
And I don't think she'd appreciate being around a me when I'm with a bunch of gays, a teenager or two and a lebanese lady she's never met or spoken to before.
But I REALLY want ot meet y'all!

Got it.
My mom is like that too, as far as the internet goes. That's why she's coming. Do you really think I'd be let on a train to go into the city to meet internet friends on my own? Yeah, right!
She's OK with the gay people and meeting and stuff, though. She even went as far as to say, when we first met my voice teacher, "He sounds gay. You two should get along really well!"
OK, mom.
I really want to meet people too! Urgh!

Ok, well, we'll have to see.
I'm currently having an off-the-boards rethink with someone over the method, but I'll let you know when the deal goes down if it does.

Tonight might just be the night, folks.
I'm heading home. I'll be thinking of you all. Take care.

Call me if you need to, lovie. You'll be fine.
Well that was a lovely brunch!
I wish I could have made it. :/
Me too!
where did you guys go? what did y'all have?
:)
Next time I will crash at my best friend's house so nothing here will have me all distracted...lol. Damn work stuff.
I had to go to work today, too, but at least I had a lovely time before going.
One of the kids I work with was in the hospital and his mom was at a conference, so I ended up staying up with him and his dad. Couldn't be avoioded. Well, I didn't have to answer the phone, I guess. Bah.
How is the kid doing?
