It was worth a try, anyway.
Hola amigos!
PM, love the AC image....it's perfectly marvelous. hahahaha....not. While my wit is coming back I must confess my cleverness is not caught up yet.
Hah, that's all right. I saw you around and thought, "oh, I should put an Alan picture up!" and also because I just found the image yesterday, not to mention The Tin Man will be airing next month.

The main board is even more amusing than usual this week.
Did you see the thread where someone posted a link to ATC where a local one member supposedly trahed message board users?
I must see this!
Probably missed it whilst in NY...

Here ya go PM
pimply teens a drama queens
I just found it on the Broadway board, but I will re-read it for its charm.

It is amusing reading. Meltdowns here, meltdowns there, meltdowns coming everywhere!
D, you have moved up the ranks of cool in my book now that you have a Charlie Brown quote.
But, in regards to the strike thread, it is quite interesting to get a different view as I have been reading along in Long Island Newsday's reports. I personally love the people who act as if they couldn't possibly do anything else in New York City whilst this is going on. Yes, they are upset because they "couldn't see Fantasia" or "they really wanted to see Hairspray" or their children had their hearts set on "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", that's understandable, but for goodness sakes, people! You have Off-Broadway, a plethora of shopping venues and not to mention art galleries, Central Park, and Saint Patrick's Cathedral.
(Also, for the record, I'd like to say I'm not one of those clucking hens or pimply queens or whatever tag he's using, as I have worked backstage on shows so I do know the stress of being a stagehand. Perhaps not the extent that they feel, but I at least have an idea, which is more than some people have.)

Apparently no one gets to see Fantasia when the show is running, so what's the problem?

Good afternoon, lovies!
I have Youth Collective tonight, and I have to write a story about something that's happened to me to share with the class. Then, I also have to have my sheet music so I can sing. Except, ever since I first worked on "Unexpected Song," I've not been able to hit the G. This evening has the potential to ruin my happy streak.
Does anybody have the sheet music to "Fine, Fine Line" from Avenue Q?
Hi DGG! Unfortunately, I do not have the sheet music... but if I did, I would send it over your way.
D, I know... this is what makes these people even funnier is the fact they obviously aren't keen on Fantasia's "appearances".
My lighting design professor asked me if I would see anything in NY, as I have to watch the university's shows and write my thoughts on them. Basically, if I couldn't get to All Shook Up, my option was to see a show on Broadway and/or Off-Broadway. Now, of course, I'm just damn happy I was able to catch All Shook Up instead.

Hi PM! No sweat, thanks anyway! I just begged for my mom's credit card, so I'll buy it.
What's new and exciting in Avland this afternoon. Taking a quick break, thought I'd check out the board.

Hey Girly!
Can I just take out my anger on calculus right now?

Thanks.
Anyway, how's everyone else today?
Calculus? A language I never learned.
Deet, you ready for a rockin' and rollin' night of fun?

Almost. All the crazy ones have left for the event already - I'm chillin' here on some last minute things and then I'm heading out around 4:30.
Unfortunately, though, I really won't be able to drink until much later tonight.
You owe it to yourself to have a few before you get there.

Oy JAG you have my sympathy -- I have to start preparing for the GRE's and I'm dreading returning to Trig and Calc myself.
One time I went to dance class, and I touched a radiator that was very hot, because I wanted to see that it was hot or not, and then I started crying, because it was too hot. And my classmates surrounded me and they asked me if I was alright. Omg, I think I'm tearing up just remembering that......Well, maybe not.
Was that just yesterday?

Uh...oh.
Got the music! Woot!
I'm sure you'll look dashing, Deet! I expect pictures!
I hate calc, Jag. THIS MUCH! I sat in class this morning and just stared at the board. I never know what's going on in there.
