I thought the show was 1/2 hour of material and it just went on and on and on. Nobody agrees with me. Anyway, I've seen it, no interest in the film. Besides, most film musicals I've seen, stink.

I was troubled by the director's inability to keep focused on the dancing. Today, director's don't know how to direct movie musicals. They are far too influenced by MTV and think they have to have lots of quick cuts, instead of long, steady shots, so you can enjoy the number. CHICAGO is infinitely better than garbage like MOULIN ROUGE, but still, it could have been great, and it wasn't. Not to me, at least.
