that's just your age lol. Think about it like this, if you can give someone an education then that is something they can never have taken away from them... you give someone an education and you open doors for them in the future. You basically can change someones life... it's an amazing feeling when you're working with a child who can;t understand something and when they finally get it and they feel great you know you've accomplished something great!

Yeah, but the kids aren't grateful at all. Kids hate to learn. Even if they do learn against their will, they don't thank you for it. In schools, teachers are always the bad guys.

not always... i'm the cool young teacher! I even got a whoop from the class when i walked in today! I am sound with the kids but they know not to mess me about, i can be the regular nasty type if i want, but i tend to have a laugh and make learning fun... hence they don't want to kill me.

I also greatly enjoy teaching...but that's primarily because I get paid 90 bucks an hour to do it, and I only have to deal with one monst..er, child at a time.

I have massive respect and admiration for people who teach institutionally...my nerves could never handle it.

cheers jailyard guy! I'm still training so there is time for me to hate it lol. The school i'm at though is brillaint, no really bad kids and the staff are quite young so it's a mint atmosphere!

That's good. What age do you teach? We don't have any cool young teachers. Just old, boring ones. Actually, one af our teachers is fun, he always makes fun of me for being obsessed with musicals.
