Is the price right for Rosie?

No, Jane, I knew approximately what you were getting at but your reference was wrong.
Pick pick pick, Namo. I was wrong-so call the post police. Oh, I forgot - YOU'RE THEM.
Anyway, to go back-about Rosie being in another generation? I have to take that back-I'm not sure how many years a generation makes, so she and I may be the same generation.
"So you're assuming she wants the gig without having read the job description?"
We're having a discussion for fun here, if that's ok with you. No one knows anything for sure-it's all speculation.
"You're reminding me of Boy George demanding she get a haircut to prove that she was dyke enough to produce his show."
Poor analogy.

In what way is that a poor analogy? She was too mainstream and Queen of Nice for Boy George, and now she's too much of a loud mouthed politcal dyke for you. The fact that you're holding up the OPPOSITE litmus test doesn't make it a poor analogy.
And I meant that Rosie was from a different generation than 80-something Bob Barker. Though, now that you mention it...

"and now she's too much of a loud mouthed politcal dyke for you."
I never said or alluded to that! Namo, what's happening to you? I simply said that the Price is Right wouldn't be the right forum for her views. tsk, tsk.
Anyway, I have to go watch some trash tv now.
eta-not that trashy-the American Film Institute has a show on CBS on the top films of all time,.

"Rosie O'Donnell has shut the door on coming on down to be the next host of "The Price is Right," -- all because she doesn't want to deal with schlepping to L.A.
On her video blog over the weekend, Ro called the gig "a fantasy childhood indulgence," and explained that she asked CBS to let her tape multiple episodes on the days she was out West, but the network said no way. According to O'Donnell, it would've been a lark anyway, since, as she put it, "I don't really need a job," and that uprooting her large brood wasn't an option.
The search for the next spay-and-neuter spokesman continues."

Rosie already has a home in LA. People pick up and move across country every day. It ain't that big of a deal.

"I'm told the they made her a substantial offer, but that the location of the show — Los Angeles — was the deal-breaker. Just as I predicted, Rosie will not move from New York. She's set here, and in Miami. So that's it. No amount of money can change it."
