Seriously, is anybody fooled by this? The blinking ads are the only ones that I won't click.
I often click-through the ads to support the site, because generating the traffic of the click-throughs will eventually mean increased revenue. But companies who put up the "punch the monkey" and "If it's flashing, you're a winner" ads don't need my traffic.

you gotta be careful with those.
Sometimes if I click one of those, my anti-virus goes ape-shat when the clicked to site tries to dump a half a dozen trojans (viruses not condoms) on my site.
For the love of Pete, Rodney, please, please, please wear a box of condoms. We don't need any spawn of Rodney happening.

oooooo... my Hyde persona almost took over for a second there. I thought of all sorts of nasty things to say...
I'll bet you can't talk as dirty as me though.

Few can , Matt_G.
And I just never click on banner ads, even interesting ones. If they lead to a site I find interesting I'll type in the URL myself to avoid various cookies and adware.

Bwah. :P Reminds me of when someone in my class dressed up as PV=NRT for Halloween.
The flashing ads make my eyes go crazy and gives me headaches. haha I always see it with my periferal (sp?) vision.

I have been flashed before....oh . you mean on this website.
You won too? No way, I just won. How many winners can there actually be?
You guys couldn't have possibly won. I already did!
And I don't click on ads. Like, ever.
