I say own your plastic surgery. Dolly and Joan Rivers (who looks far worse, I must say) at least don't lie about it like Cher and Michael Jackson.
Oh, and that Nicole Kidman thing that's been prancing about pretending to be a botox-free "Actor" for a few years.

I have to say, the plastic surgery is just another thing to love about her. The only thing that is a bit disconcerting is her tiny waist. I think she looked better with a few pounds on her.

I have to agree, robbiej. That itty bitty waist next to that gigantic, um, upper half is a tad scary. I miss Dolly circa "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." Although, she does look pretty fab.

Just watched it last night! I LOVE it!! Her little giggle just cracks me up. And when she cries at the end it just breaks my heart.

robbiej touched on something that I noticed while watching the pimp number....the first thing I thought of was The Life, right off the bat. And as for Debbie Allen, I will never forget the Beauty and the Beast Pas De Deaux and the "Circle of Life" gold-painted hula-hoop. Those two made her Under the Sea number look like friggin' Agnes DeMille.
And yes, Dolly should have won. But Alanis Morrisette should have been nominated for Wunderkind (even if she does pronounce it wrong). And no nomination for He Was a Friend of Mine or A Love That Never Grows Old? Both FAR superior to *shudder* The Hapless Pimp or In the Sleep.

I'm still sore that Dolly lost, but I'd be lying if I said the song hasn't been stuck in my head since Sunday night.

Just for the record, the tap-dancing, "flippered" Under The Sea number from Little Mermaid was not the work of Debbie Allen.

I loved that jamie Fox said that if they had not won they could just melt the gold in their mouths and create their own.
