She has more chins than a chinese phone book.
(God, I've always wanted to use that!)

Posted: 1/9/12 at 2:08pmI only watch the show on occasion and of the times I have watched it I can honestly say that there was only one mom I ever respected. Some of you who watch more often may remember her. She made it clear that they were doing it only for her daughter's college fund and as soon as her daughter said "I don't want to do this anymore" they were going to stop. She made all of her daughter's costumes and didn't have the spray tans or flippers. They didn't even place in the episode I watched and the mom said they were walking away from pagents. It made me sad because here is a woman who is in it for the "right" reasons, who is considering the wants and feelings of her child, and is doing it all within her means but is bulldozed by the over-the-top crazies.

"She made all of her daughter's costumes and didn't have the spray tans or flippers."
that's why she didn't even place.
" She made it clear that they were doing it only for her daughter's college fund "
IMO, there IS no reason to do these pageants, and they should be outlawed.

Posted: 1/9/12 at 4:37pmThe pageants are strictly for the mothers. The girls get to have some fun, but nobody except the mothers actually care about these bizarre pageants at all. They exist just to give the women something to obsess over. If the pageants didn't exist, the mothers would just move on to dance schools, cheer leading, drill teams, or some any other competition that requires makeup and costumes.

Posted: 1/9/12 at 8:05pm^ That's totally true. Funny you mention dance though. My mom took me to lessons, but she was not obsessed with the stuff you mention. I guess she mostly did it because I loved dancing around the living room to my Barbie and the Rockers record. The makeup we wore in recitals was so we didn't look washed out on stage.

Posted: 1/9/12 at 8:38pmNow I really want to go see one of these pageants live. Are they free to go in and watch?

Posted: 1/9/12 at 9:18pm^ I believe so. Though, you probably would look like a creepy pedophile if you were not involved with any of the contestants.
#33It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 1/10/12 at 2:45pmFor the record, there is NOTHING wrong with wanting to slap a child. I think of it quite often. But I would not recommend following through on that thought.

She so reminds me of the fat child dancing to It's Peanutbutter Jelly Time on Youtube.

Posted: 1/10/12 at 3:37pmOK, now I have to go look that up on you tube.
#36It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 1/10/12 at 3:39pmOK, I had to turn that off after 10 seconds. Gross! How does someone let their kid get that obese?

That obese then post it on you tube?
This girl is on her way, specially after chugging that go-go juice! Look at Mom!

Posted: 1/10/12 at 4:21pmYou'd think with all of her extreme couponing, she'd pick up some toothpaste and a toothbrush or two...
"In Oz, the verb is douchifizzation." PRS

Posted: 1/10/12 at 6:28pmMaybe she can't find the right coupons for that. Icky.

Well, it is called a TOOTH brush, she has a few more to lose before she has to worry.
#42It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 1/25/12 at 9:18pmThis girl is on the episode they are showing right now. She's a brat, but her mother is really horrid.
#43It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 1/25/12 at 9:25pmAnd not only is she horrid, she is absolutely disgusting.
#44It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 1/25/12 at 9:26pmAnd she's drinking an energy drink. She's 6.

If you are eating right now, this will make you lose your appetite. Anderson Cooper had some of these parents and their daughters on his afternoon talk show today. They did pageant makeovers on the moms.
You have been warned that this is not pretty.

Posted: 2/17/12 at 5:59pmI didn't know Mimi Imfurst was a pageant mom!
#47It's Wrong To Want To Slap A Child...
Posted: 2/17/12 at 6:00pmWas that a special segment of "From Bad to Worse" or something? I would think it takes a lot of go-go juice to be able to smile while looking like that.
