I met him at the 1996 convention in Chicago. My wife and I walked him to his car.

My wife and I are waliking out and see John McLaughlin. I walk right up to him and say hello. We talk about the Jesuits in the Chicago area and other things. I also ran into Johnie Cochran and Ann Richards during the convention. (RIP)

Let me tell you, he can give Taylor Hanson a run for his money on that piano 
And Taylor is a FANTASTIC pianist. (In fact, on that note, people who like Jon's music should really check out Hanson's more recent music, because it's very similar in style)
Oh and yes, he sure is gorgeous isn't he? :)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

And do not diss Mr. McLaughlin by comparing him to Zac! Jon looks great then and now :)
And I'm not sure I believe that that picture is really him... for a "Christian" guy, that seems awful riskay! He's a pretty chill person, it seems like from interviews. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would take that picture.
