Julia Roberts to play a NOT SO Evil Queen in new Snow White film.

Julia Roberts has been confirmed to play the Evil Queen in a new film based off the story of "Snow White". The film will be produced by Brett Ratner for Relativity. This is not to be confused with "Snow White and the Huntsman" that might star Charlize Theron as the Queen and Kristen Stewart as Snow White.

The Queen scared the living daylights out of me in the Disney version, but now that I'm grown and I can't wait to see Roberts play one of the most evil characters in children's literature. I also am looking forward to seeing her say the famous words, "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall."

Phil Collins's daughter, Lily Collins, who played Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blinde Side" has been cast as Snow White.

She was so incredibly bland in THE BLIND SIDE (everyone was bad in a movie with such an awful script though). I wonder what happened to the negotiations with Saoirsa Ronan who would have been a fantastic choice.
I do love the idea of Roberts as the Evil Queen so that's at least still enough to get excited about.

Nathan Lane has joined the film as Brighton, the Evil Queen's servant. Robert Emms will play the valet to valet to the Prince played by Arnie Hammer.

These photos are making me less excited. It already looks way overdone, like Alice In Wonderland. I imagine Snow White will make a lot of money, but the critics will not like it, ala Alice.

I hate the casting.
