I feel like her voice is the reason why Hollywood isn't worth it.
She sings in this?
It wasn't intended to be the greatest voice in the world, hence **SPOILER** her getting very bad reviews and being let go of her show.
Why don't you discuss it in the Spider-Man 3 thread that has already been started? I realize that would mean actually not being the center of attention, but I think that you'll survive.
she get's let go? we all know that rarely ever happens. and never just because of bad reviews...
Cats--I know it doesn't usually happen, but it does in the world of Spider-Man

And for good reason! Talk about kinda ****ty, I was hoping that the reviewers (in the film) wouldn't glam her up and make her seem sensational with that thin voice. If it was really on Broadway, this place would be talking more **** about her than Daphne in Les Mis.
Hahaha, so true!
Was that really her, or a dubbed voice?

I would hope that was her. Why pay someone to be an inadequate singing voice when you already have one?

That's precisely the argument I made back in the day, when Paula Abdul was accused of not doing her own singing.

I remember when she sang for one of the opera scenes (very short) in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. However, I can't remember if that was someone else singing for her or not because it seems like Coppola mentioned that in an interview somewhere, but I am not completely sure. However, if it was her voice, or for that matter anyone else's voice, it was just okay.

I thought her voice was okay. Not amazing but it wasn't THAT bad.

It wasn't that bad for a waitress in a club, but a solo number on broadway in our planet?
It WAS her voice and she knows it's not great. In an online interview from the TODAY show that I saw, she said she'd never do the broadway musical version because her voice wouldn't be up to doing that many shows a week and that it would be egotistical for her to not leave the role up for the real broadway professionals to handle.

I do have a lot of respect for Dunst. She is very down to earth it seems and open to trying new things in her movie roles from what I can tell.

lol! imagine that credit. Hell, I would have done it, though.
I was suprised though, because her singing voice sounded so different than her speaking voice.

In case anyone noticed, her show does in fact take place at The Broadhurst, home of the Les Mis revival
<3!!!
That was her? My friend and I laughed because that voice did not go with her at all.
seriously? i thought she was dubbed. well then.

I thought it was dubbed too, it seemed so obvious that it wasn't her voice.
Did anyone GET OVER IT? She sang in that and she was pretty good.
She sang a song called "Dream Of Me" the high school's musical version of "MidSummer Night's Dream" And Martin Short was the director.
