She very graciously brought the conversation back to why she was there by saying, "You know, there's a story I wish I could have told her - about this show." (meaning Liza With a Z)

Why is everyone so bloody critical?
Is she a flake? Yes! Is she an endearing flake? Yes!
I am not a huge fan but thought she was charming on Letterman and I think he genuinely likes her. I wish her well and good health.

Posted: 4/1/06 at 12:36amI thought she gave a great interview, and a wonderful musical number. She can still sell a song-and when I saw her tonight in person she looked much better without makeup than she did on Letterman. And thinner too.

And whoever did her makeup was way heavy-handed. She still looked good though.

Posted: 4/1/06 at 12:44amYeah, I think her makeup man used a trowel-really! I swear she looks better sans makeup, but they do have to recreate the Liza look every time she's in public. She looked and sounded very clear minded-not like she appeared on Larry King.

I can't stand Larry King.
Not a big fan of Letterman either. CBS's oldest page? That was supposed to be funny? I just sat there, staring, wondering when the fun was going to start, cursing Liza for forcing me to sit through the tripe before her.

Then when they split, I don't think either of them stayed friendly with Stern. Especially Rebecca since Stern always makes fun of Jerry. Oy, I have to go to bed, will you be around this weekend?

A beefy stud about whom I have heard rumors is not 100% straight. Ironically I heard the same rumors about John Stamos.
