There's a weird smell coming from my tv now. I'd swear it was the stench of shame and self-loathing, but that just doesn't seem right.

Yes, we know, dear.

Oh, those Craig people just make me sad.

I thought he did a fairly good job in the interview. He did not let him off the hook entirely. And I have to admit to getting the weensiest turned on as Matt demonstrated how the foot action works.
I do wish Matt would have asked him the question about why he would venture into the very public restroom when there is a lovely VIP lounge available to him? I wonder how far the bathroom is from the gate he was leaving from and if it was out of his way.
However, as for Craig, his shifty eyes and rehearsed speech were only made more disturbing by his mask of "pull up the cheek muscles and lift the eyebrows" to make him look a)not too worried, b)totally in love and/or c)hot.
Corine would never go for him, he had too much make-up on.
Poor Mrs. Craig, she needs another valium.

Oh, that could be it. I'll go with that. I don't like feeling like Matt is against me.
I wonder if Larry ever went to Crisco Oil Party.

From the very start of all this I did think he had a hot voice, and I hated myself a little for that. Probably not nearly as much as the Craigs hate themselves, though.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"The question I would like to ask him is,
Having lived through the reactions from your fellow republicans--the complete and total contempt and ostracism you've experienced based on the smallest hint of homosexuality, do you now have a deeper understanding of what it must be like to live as a gay person in this country? Has it caused you to think more deeply about your own views of homosexuality and the mobilization of homophobia as a political device by your own party?"
AMEN.
As for the interview, I saw most of it, and it was an insult to my intelligence. Craig is so full of shame that common sense is gone, when it comes to his "alibi".
The other oft-heard comment of Craig's that really pisses me off is the whole "I don't agree with that lifestyle" thing. WTF does that mean, anyway? I know what they mean, but it's the most ridiculous over-used "sound byte".

...
But as the Washington Examiner has discovered, Craig actually has extensive experience with the Internet:
• In an op-ed he wrote this summer on the SCHIP health care program, Craig refers to doing a Google search on the term “mission creep.”
• He’s a member of the Congressional Internet Caucus.
• He co-sponsored a bill designating June 2007 as National Internet Safety Month.
• He was presented with the 2007 Internet Keep Safe Coalition Award.
• On his Web site, he lists as a top accomplishment a Silver Mouse Award given to his site in 2003 and 2006 by the Congressional Management Foundation in 2003 and 2006.
• When he endorsed Mitt Romney for president, he did so on YouTube.
