As of Nov 2009 Liza Minnelli has changed her musicians.
She has replaced Mike Berkowitz with Rick Cutler as drummer. Billy Stritch is her director and pianist, Ross Konikoff and Dave Trigg are still her trumpet players, Chuck Wilson is her alto sax, flute clarinet player, and Chip Jackson is her bass player. They have been touring since Nov 2009 as her sextet, sometimes with a symphony orchestra and some concerts with just the sextet, featuring songs from her new album, "Confessions".
Do they stage door?
Anyone have a discount code? Is there going to be lottery and/or rush?
Ooh! I need to get a show magnet!
I need closing night tickets! How do I get them? I also need to see this 50 million times so I can cry and act like their biggest fan at that final show.
I already have the bootleg, but I am not releasing it yet. Anyone wanna trade?
lol...bitches all.
of course, love...I was referring to past performances as well.

I still don't understand why they cast Minnelli as Liza. I'd prefer LuPone.
I was wondering when she was going to replace Mike Berkowitz. Finally, the question has been answered. I knew something was up when I saw her performing at a VIP golf thingy on The Apprentice.
The night I saw it Lorna was on-Liza blew out her knee. They don't give refunds since they have the same DNA.
Lorna did sign Liza's name at the stagedoor, so I was happy.
If anyone is going to plya Minnelli, it should be Christine Pedi.
Anyone been wondering why she fired her manager who then committed suicide by hanging himself over the summer?
Not me.

"passed away quietly in the early morning hours" is the new euphemism for hanging yourself?
Well, he didn't yell or anything, did he?
So he passed away quietly.
Not me. I'm not going gentle into that goodnight.
When I go, I'm going like Elsie.

And no one ever died on the toilet.
Well, at least the original poster spelled her name correctly.
That's SOME-thing.

Duh.
It was rhetorical.

>>>"who then committed suicide by hanging himself over the summer?"<<<
Will someone please explain how a person can hang himself "over the summer"? I can hang a picture over a chair. I can hang a towel over a rack. Hanging oneself over a summer seems well neigh impossible.
