That is so ugly...
I still think my hometown's logo (Calgary) was the best when they hosted the Olympics. Torino was cool too.

I first thought "Whoa! Orange" and then "Isn't that the zoom logo?" and then "I don't get it" and then "oh that's supposed to say 2012."

Yeah I actually thought it said Zoom when I first saw it. That is really ugly. I like the Paris one better.

All I can say is, they have five years to fix it, and I'm sure they will. Ain't nobody gonna go anywhere near that thing.

That logo is shockingly bad. Its like the designers looked up every single principle of good design and said, oh let's do away with all that. The color is unappealing. The font is almost tragic. The lines and shapes lack coherence. It makes me so sad.

My favorite description I've seen so far is "Lisa Simpson giving a bl-w job." Sadly accurate.

Now it seems that over 48,000 folks have signed a petition against it.
The funniest thing though? The video they had on their website have cause over 23 folks to go into convulsions.
Couldn't get much worse than that!

Oh please. I saw the video. If *that* sends you into convulsions, you shouldn't be watching any TV, movies or driving more than 35 mph. There are internet ads that are far worse that haven't been banned yet, because I got one on this site just the other day.

OMG, it really does like like Lisa Simpson giving head.
Nice work, London.

My FAVORITE quote from the LA Times:
