Yes. In fact, one of the reasons that Malcolm David Kelly has hardly been on the show this season is because his body has developed rapidly. Apparently the writers are thinking about a way to explain that in the next season.

Yeah...I noticed that with Walt's voice too. That's the problem when you do a show with kids when you move as slowly through time as Lost does. Maybe they'll come up with some sort of reason he grew so fast. Something the Others did to him.

And just another question...Danielle....I know she said the others took her baby, Alex...and we've since seen her. But the other people in her party, I remember she said they were infected, but did they die?

Didn't she say in that original radio signal, "They're all dead"?

They'll have to speed up the storyline *much* more if they don't want Sun to be pregnant for the next five seasons. If she actually is pregnant...

Yes. Rousseau actually killed everybody in her crew herself, because she was afraid that she might get the sickness that they had.

Speaking of people being infected, I just remembered how Charlie brought Claire that vaccine. I don't know about her...but I wouldn't be injecting myself with it. Honestly, I don't think it does anything. There have been a few mentions of a disease and a vaccice, but we haven't actually seen anyone sick. I think it's just something else to mess with their heads.

As for Walt, steroids? Or something?

This episode confirmed to me that Jack is dumber than bricks, and the only person with a brain is Sayid.

So glad I'm not the only one who had these thoughts. No one else was intutive enough to question Michael's obviously strange behavior? Jack was being kind of dense and annoyingly confrontational all episode. I love Sayid's knack for reading people.

Jack's also chauvinistic and has an unsexy haircut.

I don't like Jack or Kate that much. Is that normal?

Absolutely. I've only started warming up to Kate lately. Though perhaps that was because I had Ana Lucia to hate. Updated On: 5/18/06 at 06:08 PM

I've never really liked either of them. With the exception of Charlie they are probably my least favorite characters.

Oh, good! Other people feel the same way.

Same about Kate, Atrias. She seems fantastic compared to Ana Lucia.

It just seems strange, since I'd say that they're the romantic leads of the series.

Chauvanistic? How? He had Kate digging graves along side the men. He had Sun doing medical work with him. I haven't seen him give preferential treatment to the men.

I do have to say that I was surprised it took so long for someone to notice how strangely Michael was acting...although Eko seemed to figure it out too....loved his little story about the boy and the dog....However, remember, we know what really happened, and we learned more about why he had come back, and what his motives were for his return to the others. The other castaways don't know all that. Plus, he's been missing for 2 weeks and been with "the others", and they figure anything could have happened to him. Heck, Claire and Charlie really didn't remember what happened to them for a long time! I just think they were so glad he was back, they missed many of his "oddiites"

I love the fact that this show does NOT depend on romance. Strangers weren't screwing each other in the first episode. Can't you just imagine "The OC: Stuck on a Desert Island"?

Aw, I love Charlie. Then again, I have a thing for British guys. Anyhoo, I think that my favorite chatacter is Sayid, but I'm beginning to like Mr. Ecko too.

I loved Booney...but, alas. *tear*

I don't know why I don't like Charlie. It's weird because I love Dominic Monaghan. And I'm with you. My top three are Eko, Sayid and Locke. (In no particular order.)

Same! I'd be perfectly content if there was no hooking up on the island. I mean, I was rotting for Sun and Jin to get back together, but I don't need a slew of new romances.

I like Charlie, but I'm afraid he's getting too close to conquering all his demons....and you know what happens when you reach redemption on this island....bye-bye!

I've enjoyed watching Charlie mature and stop being so self-centered, and selfish. It's been great to see him spend time with Claire and Aaron, and try to be more of a grown up. Him throwing away all the drugs last night was a great scene. Now he just needs someone to help him build the church.

Jack's always telling Kate what she can and can't do, more so than any of the others. She got so pissed about it once that she followed him anyway and got captured by the Others, remember?

Sayid is definitely my favorite character. I'm always excited when there's an episode that focuses on him (the episode about torturing "Henry Gale" was one of my favorites of the season so far). I also really like Eko and, for some reason, Sawyer (in that love-to-hate him way).

I love Jack, Sawyer and Eko. Eko just has a simple way of speaking, but his words go so much deeper once you really think about them. I love how Sawyer is the guy you love and hate and always has a great nickname for everyone. (I died when he called Hurley "Barbar" and was then corrected by Hurley himself. It's really "Babar".) And Jack is the one guy who needs to redeem himself, IMO. I like how he grows through some of the struggles on the island.
And I also have a soft spot for Sayid. He's great at getting the info and being the brains of the bunch.

No one is alone.

I think Mr. Eko clearly knew what was going on when he told Michael that story. Did you see the look he gave him?

Here's a thought I had....most people have assumed that Libby's death was an accident, and that Michael only killed her because he was "startled." I'm willing to bet that was less of an accident than we think. He needed Hurley to go along on that little mission. How else would he have convinced him to go?

Also, back in season 1, Sawyer saw the horse too. He and Kate were together and she said, "Did you see that?" and he responds, "You mean that white horse? Yeah, I saw it." My guess is the four on Miss Clue's list (what a CREEPY character) are wanted because of some kind of psychic ability they share.

I bet it's Desmond on the boat. In the preview, you see Sawyer and Jin on it, and Desmond running through the jungle with a gun.

As for favorite characters, mine would have to be Locke, Eko, and Sayid, in mo particular order. My least favorites are Jack, Charlie, and Ana-Lucia. I've only recently started warming up to Sawyer, who I used to despise.

I figured it was Desmond on the boat as soon as I saw it (but then, I know he's coming back next week - if I didn't I doubt I would have realized it).

The vaccination thing was very strange -- Charlie finds "vaccine", shoots himself up (supposedly), then gives it to Claire and the baby??? And she doesn't find this suspicious at all???

Michael WAS acting funny - I couldn't believe no one could detect that either other than Sayid and Eko.

My friend had close captioning on, and she said that the name was Miss Kluh there. Still, strange name! Is that just a shot at the audience from the producers, or is there something to it?

Did Locke's legs heal, or was he going on anyway? Did it have something to do with Charlie throwing away the statues? He WAS limping still...

And what does Eko intend to do in the hatch? I doubt he's there JUST to push the button...

I can't WAIT until next Wednesday!

Locke's was limping, so his leg wasn't completely healed.

I have a feeling Charlie will be passing from this plane of existence shortly.

the finale "Live Together, Die Alone" is a two hour finale. so, its gonna be balls to the wall.

Clearly there is something to Kluh's name. if not for the Closed Captioning then her name would seem to everyone to be Clue, so its likely its referential Naming.

Also, I have a feeling they are gonna have to kill off because of Puberty.

when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

"He needed Hurley to go along on that little mission. How else would he have convinced him to go?"

That's a pretty good theory, but Michael didn't know Libby and Hurley were dating. When Hurley said "We were gonna go on our first date," Michael said "Date?" as if he didn't know they were together.

I also think that there is significance to Ms. Klugh's name. (That's how its spelled on LOST's website & imdb)

I also think that Locke's legs are healed just fine. As we know the island has "healing powers." Rose even said to Locke that they both knew that this injury won't last long.

I can't wait for next week becuase we'll finally find out a lot more about Desmond.

See, I'm not entirely sure I buy the healing powers of the island. All of the ailments we've seen have been pre-island things -- Jin's infertility, Locke's legs, Rose's cancer. This second injury to Locke is the first think we've seen that's FROM the island.

I don't trust those flashbacks as being true - I've had a suspicion that they may be implanted - so these people BELIEVE they were healed, but there was really never anything wrong with them.

If Locke IS better already - and the island did speed up his recovery, I may have to rethink that theory.
