When I saw the preview for last night, and saw everyone staring out there, my thought was that another plane was crashing.

Charlie's throwing out the rest of the drugs seems to indicate to me that he will not be with us much longer.

My speculation about the ubiquitous "him" the others refer to is that it must be Hanso. I wonder if he'll ever appear in person.

Next week's episode gives us Desmond flashbacks (where we'll apparently learn about Libby as well), so that seems to confirm that it is him in the boat.

For some reason, I feltlike Michael had been away a lot longer than 13 days. Time passes slow over there, I guess.

Whatever happened to the army Jack vowed to train at the end of the 5th episode?

Why hasn't Kate opened her mouth about the costumes? Isn't this information kind of useful. I think that's the biggest thing that bugs me about these people. If they would all just TALK and COMMUNICATE with one another, they'd be able to figure a lot of this out.

Wheelchair could have been planted - along with all the other stuff they got from the plane (ie guns, medicine etc.)

Wasn't that Locke's wheelchair?

But how do you explain the fact that Rose knew that Locke was in the wheelchair?

I'd still like to know where Sawyer got that pregnancy test from. Not something I usually travel with, but that could just be me.

Unless Sawyer is actually a woman. Now wouldn't *that* be an interesting plot twist?

Yes, but even if he is a woman, why would he bring a pregnancy test? Would the pressure make the results more accurate? re: Lost tonight...what do we think?

That's my point - all the memories of pre-island stuff are suspicious. Are we REALLY to believe these people all crossed paths with each other before they were somehow all on the same plane? It's too much of a coincidence - there has to be a reason for it.

Implanted memories could EASILY explain those crossovers. Rose knew about the wheelchair because it was in her memory from the airport.

Like I said - until now with Locke's legs (if they were miraculously healed) - every other "healing" has been of a pre-island condition. When Rose, Jin, and Locke got to the island, their ailments were suddenly healed - what if those ailments never really existed - they were just implanted as memory?

It's just a theory...

I've also heard a theory that all of the people on the island are connected to Darma in some way. Especially Jack and Kate's fathers, and Hurley, because he was in the mental hospital. And Sawyer could be connected somehow too, and that's why it's the 4 of them that the others want.

But...*shrug*...no idea.

The in the hospital thing doesn't work or Libby's name would have been on the list...

Rose knew Locke was in a wheelchair because she saw him at the airport. In she and Bernard's flashback, she helped him pick something up that he had dropped.

Go to this site for a really interesting and very well thought out theory. It gave me the willies.

OK, link isn't working for some reason.

Jason, I don't have that much a problem with everyone being related. Its sort of like a serial version of Magnolia or 13 Conversations About One Thing.

I think the person who's father is involved with Dharma the most is Sun's father. In Season One, when Jin went into his office to ask for permission to marry Sun, he had televisions with an island on them. I also think that Inman, from Sayid's last flashback, is going to be involved in some way, as well as the psychic from Claire & Eko's flashbacks.

Zoneace -- it's not so much a problem as just HUGE coincidences. Are you going to tell me that the last time you were on a plane you, and everyone on there, crossed paths in a significant way somewhere earlier in life? It's not all that likely, really.
Even if my theory about the implanted memories turns out not to be true, I'll still bet there's an explanation for the crossed paths that does not add up to mere coincidence.

So, about that Hando Foundation thing...Anyone been to the website? I'm severely freaked out. Especially by the freaky orangutan.

Jason, its all about suspending your disbelief.

Its about the idea that something like the connections are possible that makes it so interesting. The whole What If factor.

Harold Perrineau was just on Ellen. He said that in the finale we would find out how the plane crashed, and that nobody would die, yet. It seems as if somebody gets shot or something, and we don't know if he/she is dead until next season.

Maybe the Darma people shot the plane down.
