Mistakes happen. Not often, but they happen. It could be a QC issue in the master, or it could be a replication issue.
The Interscope Records website is useless. It looks like a Pinterest page with no real info. Just See-N-Say bullsh*t.
I've also checked forums where they do confirm the issue, but nobody has any info on the announced recall program.
Where di you buy your disc?
For example, I bought the bad/mono DVD of "Lost Horizon" before Sony confirmed that the sound should have been in 5.1 surround (not mono) and recalled the disc. I bought mine through Amazon, so Amazon did the exchange (not Sony).
I would discuss it first with your point-of-sale.
EDIT: Although sometimes the point-of-sale people can be clueless. So be ready for them to say, "we don't know anything about it." Still, I would start there.
